Jesus the CHRIST was a Jew mate! I don't know what the original postings were all about because they were too long to be bothered reading anyway. Waste of space, time and effort. Take your Qu'ran or whatever it is and go tell it on the mountain.
Jesus was a Jew of direct Jewish descent. He was born in Bethlehem.
Haven't you heard of Jesus of Nazareth?

Hi Tamara. My 'Capricorn' post was just a joke. A way to inject some humor into this bizzare belief that our Master was a Muslim! We Christians know He was a Jew. There weren't even any Muslims 2,000 years ago!

Would a Muslim be at Jewish Temple claimming to be doing His Father's business? And would a Muslim be as well versed in Scripture as Jesus was? HA! Hardly!

By using the same "criteria" that Muslims apply to claim that Jesus was a Muslim, it can be demonstrated that so was Winnie-the-Pooh.

Important Note: The Hebrew word "Mushlam" comes from the root "Sh L M".
"Shalom" which comes from the same root means "peace".
The Arabic word "Muslim" comes from the root "S L M". "Salam" means "peace". "Salem" means "safe". Also taken from the Aramaic bible society.

Take-over by critical mass

The Moslems would typically send their people to immigrate into a foreign land and are very peaceful people (at first) till their population reaches greater numbers then they start protesting sending their women out first.

BIG-HINT FOR FRANCE

Then,
when the population reaches a critical mass of say 23% they send out the men to protest and begin terrorist atrocities, a bloody campaign of unprecedented gore and violence thereby terrifying the meeker indigenous peoples into subjection.

Once they have control the next phase is to implement the three choice options for the entire populace that chooses to stick around.

Alright, first of all the original post was made in the "Christianity and Other Religions" part of this forum. That was it's proper place. Secondly the come backs some are making come straight from the bowels of hades. Some posts resemble the spirituality they attack others of. ELI - what on Earth are you talking about? Educate yourself in other religions before you start attacking. That way you have at least a viable arguement other than just "what you heard from somewhere." That was the second thing we learned in the missions field.

Tiyaya, we are still in the "Christianity and Other Religions" Forum. I never moved the topic. The very first post in this thread was about as divisive as you can get. It was meant to do nothing than to stir up the emotions and defenses of the Christian members here. It had no real basis of truth to it and we pointed that out. To think that the Muslims would take OUR Messiah and claim Him as nothing more than a prophet of Islam is absurd. Phoooooooy! :x
 
Vic, Off the hip imflammatory remarks are not showing the love of Christ to our non Christian brothers and sisiters. Show me what in ELI's remarks could possibly be used to show the love of Jesus Christ.

I am neither condoning nor condemning any one poster in this thread. But don't you feel it's only fair to warn others of radical religious extremists? Would you not warn a friend if they were about to unknowingly put their hands in a tank of piranhas in the fishstore? They are pretty to look at but I wouldn't want to try and pet them.

Same goes for some religions. While they may SEEM to be all peace-loving and harmless on the outside, their ulterior motives may quite the opposite. Then there are the fanatics like Fred Phelps and similar people like him. I don't know about you, but I may just go out of my way to warn people about the likes of the fanatical religious zealots. And if my lovelight doesn't always shine through, remember...Jesus also His moments of righteous indignation. And who am I compared to Him and His Righteousness?
