kill 'em with kindness

ok. i have more energy these days, im more lucid...this is apparently my "recovery from psychosis" in action (OK, really its God in action, but...you get what I'm saying...).

I'm not well-liked around here. long story. I was thinking...

...I was thinking about baking some stuff for my parents, and maybe making up a batch of brownies or caramel apples for the office/administrative/receptionist people at the ,mental health clinic. i get negative vibes off people there sometimes ("trouble maker," etc.), so I thought maybe some home baked goodies might smooth things over.

what do y'all think? or is bringing in brownies a bit over the top ((social skills...still something I"m working on...)).

Thanks. :)

thanks. im on it! ive got a recipe book that tells one how to take boxed kits up a couple notches. maybe i'll even do some chocolate butter cream frosting, lol.

:)

Kill them with kindness then they will see you for who you are now. You are well liked (loved) in here so bake us some goodies..................yum

thanks, f_h_g. :)

i think i'll do it. it gets rough...i was wretched, no doubt, and now...

ugh! even with my (now "genteel" or..."well-to-do") parents solidly behind me (Praise God!), being a "mental patient" is often decidedly un-fun, largely in part because of...Mental Health, Inc. Not playing. There -are- good counselors, psychiatrists, etc., but there are plenty who should probably be in an entirely different field...which raises the obvious question: if they're not in it to help people, why not do something else? They might even make more $$$ in another field, especially the counselors.

OK...--end rant-- (for now, LOL).

Point is, The Lord has changed me from wretched, irreparably broken, etc. into...a flawed, but forgiven, washed+made clean, increasingly...whole...human being. God is good! People? often...not so much, human nature and all.

Verna says I should see about going to a family doctor. I don't know. We have something of a doctor shortage around here, so family docs are in a position to say "no, I won't treat your mental problems," cuz...most of them are over-booked, as is. Ugh.

OK. I really -am- going to cool it now, LOL. Thanks again. :)
