One word in the OT "Hebrew" (in it's various forms), And one word in the NT, "Greek" are translated "Kingdom". This is a show of unity in establishing the Kingdom, according to God's plan and will. The KINGDOM, in the ultimate plan of God is one. (one Kingdom)
But in establishing Kingdom unity, man passes through many forms and progressive developments, because of his resistance to listen to and obey God.

The primary teaching in Scripture is that, In the whole universe (which is the sphere of God's rule) that the earth is a revolted province, and the Kingdom in it's various forms (relating to the earth) is the Divine Method of re-establishing humanity in willing and affectionate obedience to "God, even the Father." (1 Cor. 15: 24).

There are two truths about the Kingdom in the Scriptures; Adam's failure to keep his rule over the earth and it's effects. (Gen. 1: 26-28; 3: 17-19) And God's re-establishment of the rule of the earth under the last Adam. (1 Cor. 15:24). The Kingdom is the divine rule by which the will of God is applied to the affairs- religious, social, political--of the earth. "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." (Matt. 6: 10) Part of much of the confusion of Kingdom teaching is not understanding the distinct meanings of qualifying words or phrases, such as, "Kingdom of Heaven," "Kingdom of God,". And that "Kingdom" and "Church" are not only different words, but different things.
The most far reaching destruction of the position of the Church has been the Judaizing of the Church. It has done more to hinder her progress, pervert her mission and destroy her Spirituality than all other causes combined. Instead of pursing her appointed path of SEPARATION, PERSECUTION, POVERTY, and NONRESTIANCE, she has lowered her purpose to the civilization of the world, by the accumulation of wealth, the use of imposing rituals, and the erection of magnificent Church buildings. But the distinction to Israel's national incentive to godliness was earthly rewards.

The Church are those that are called out (the whole body of the redeemed) from the "Day of Pentecost" to the descent of the Lord into "the air," according to (1 Thess. 4: 13-18).
Reference Scriptures: Matt. 16:18; Acts 2: 47; 5:11; 1 Cor. 10: 32; 12: 28; Eph. 1:22; 3:10, 21; 5: 23-32; Phlip. 3:6; Col. 1:18; 24; 1 Tim. 3:5, 15; Heb. 2: 12; 12:23.

The Church is the body of Christ. The Church is not an organization, but a living organism and a spiritual body, each part depending on each other. (1 Cor. 12: 12-13) No part being independent of each other, and with Christ as head of that body. (Eph. 1: 22-23) (1 Corinthians chapter 12)

One day the body of Christ will be complete. (The Epistle to the Ephesians). Also called the "fullness of the Gentiles." (Rom. 5:11) Should be (Rom. 11:25)
Scripture teaches that at this time, Christ's attention is to the calling out of the Gentile as part of the Church (true Church) the body of Christ (Acts 15: 13-18) Then after this (the fullness of the Gentiles into the Church), God will build up and establish the tabernacle of David. (The nation of Israel) Then Christ (son of David) will be ruling as King and prince of all nations. (Rev. 1: 4-6) Christ is not king of the Church, He is the head of the Church. And we are called, and by rebirth have become the Son's of God (not children) and brothers of Christ, calling God our father. (Romans 8: 9-17) The members of Christ body are expected to suffer with Christ. Not by self willed sacrifice, but by the born again Spirit of grace and charity. A far cry from today's Huge and beautiful multi million dollar church cathedrals and your name it and claim it preachers using the Scriptures of material promises to Israel, to bilk the sheep that follow them.
Notice correction . Rom. 5:11 should have been Rom. 11:25)

"with in" The Greek word "entos" means "in the midst" not "within." For wherever Christ is, there is the Kingdom. I'am sure that the Lord knew the Pharisee's did not have the Kingdom within them, but the Kingdom was among them. Christ is the Kingdom, the Kingdom is not material, it is Spiritual.

That is true to the Church which we are bonded to Christ by the Holy Spirit in us. But Christ had not yet called His Church or body as united to Him by His Spirit. The Gospels are about the literal Kingdom promised to Israel with the Son of David on the throne. That is what Christ began His ministry with in Matthew chapter 4. Christ Himself is the Kingdom because it is governed by the principles of the Spirit of God, and the principles and Spirit of the Kingdom are Christ Himself, and he was among them and in the midst of them. (Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven) He describes the Spirit and constitution of the Kingdom in Matthew Chapters 5, 6, and 7. The Holy Spirit was not available until the rejection of the Christ (The Kingdom). It was after the Lord had risen that the Church was born with the filling of the Holy Spirit to Believers at Pentecost. It was only then that the Holy Spirit was a permanent Possession to believers. It was not a possession to man until then.

First This period is a transition from the OT to the NEW. Christ had His Apostles,Disciples, followers Long before Pentecost. But, they were the beginning the foundation of the Church in the transition period. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOSPEL, Jesus did not offer one gospel to the Jews then another to the church! It was always Obey ME keep My commandments and come near for the Royal power of God.
A word for word translation of this verse is: Mt4:17
"Change your mind and draw near for “the royal power of God”. Note in this verse the “draw near” is in reference to the one changing their mind not the “kingdom or power”. There is no grammatical reason the move the “draw near” to the kingdom of Heaven. Change your mind is “You” second person plural, Draw near “the ones changing” is third person plural. Power of God is the object of the preposition “for” and first person singular.
"You change your mind the ones changing draw near for the royal power of God" That is what the verse says.
79 times in the OT God said something like "Hear My voice, Keep MY commandments, I will be your GOD, you will be My people."
Jesus said the same thing. There has always been only one message.

The Gospel was two Gospels that were united together. "The Gospel of the Kingdom" as promised to Israel upon this earth with the "Son of David" on the Throne, and the Gospel of God's grace in Jesus the Christ to all who believe by faith. The Gospels are about the promised Kingdom, and it was only to the Jew. (Matthew chapter 4) (Matt. 10: 1-14) (Mark 6: 7-14) (Matt. 15: 24) (Luke 9: 1-06; 10: 1-12)
It was only after the Lord had risen that the Gospel of the grace of God and the formation of His body (the Church) That salvation by God's grace was preached into all the world. The Gospel of the grace of God in Jesus The Christ. The Disciples preached both Gospels. The Gospel of the Kingdom of Israel upon the earth will be preached again during the Tribulation along with God's grace where the majority of those that will be saved (that no one can count out of all nations. (Matt. 24: 11-14) (Rev. 7: 9-17) The Jew will be the dominate witness for The Lord. (144,000 Rev. 7: 1-8)
The Disciples after Pentecost preach both the Kingdom and the Grace of God. Ref. Scriptures (Acts 8: 12; 15:14-16 ; 19:8; 20:24-27) (Rom. 1:1-5). The Church is not Israel. The Church is the new city made without hands, the temple of God. (Heb. 12: 18-24) (Rev. 21: 2)
