Left Behind

God is preparing to remove true Christians from the face of the earth, in what is known as the Rapture. Many of your Christian friends and relatives will suddenly become “missingâ€. If you have witnessed the Rapture, if you are one of those who have been left behind what will you do?

Cross that bridge when I come to it, otherwise, I will not concern myself with it.

If you are left behind then that means your destiny now is the lake of fire as your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life. There is no mention in scripture about a so called secret quiet rapture or a second chance after the saints of God are caught up to meet Jesus in the air as Jesus will descend with a shout and with the trump of God. This does not sound like it’s going to be a quiet so called rapture does it and every eye will see him and every knee will bow saints and those who choose to reject Jesus. The Holy Spirit dwells in us the believers and isn’t something that just floats around in the air so for this reason when we are taken up so is the Holy Spirit giving no one a second chance because we are sealed by Gods Spirit for Salvation and after the Spirit is taken up no one has a second chance.

1Thessalonians 4:16 for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

2Corinthians 1:21 Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
2Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Claudya just ask Jesus to reveal himself to you and he will as he has to many of us. In all humility and humbleness of heart find yourself a quiet place where you will not be disturbed and just talk to Jesus like you would talk to any of your friends and He will reveal himself to you as long as you stay quiet long enough to let himself do so. It might not be an audible voice, but you will feel the presence of His Spirit speak to you. This is what I did when I had doubts and again, the key is to be still long enough however long it takes.

Oh I think I have experienced Jesus "reveal Himself to me" many times. But it just ain't a proof. It might just be wishfull thinking. I spent most of my life as an agnostic or atheist, and in the 5 years since becoming a christian I went from faith crisis to faith crisis. I would love to see the rapture happen. The thought of being left behind here is horrible, but at least there would be some ultimate evidence the God is real.

If you would spend time daily in the word of God your faith will increase. Edited Faith is not by sight.

Thank you for the edit...typo.

Don't sweat it, Claudya.

"Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief."

I doubted a lot the first few years, but now, after 35 years, there is no doubt in my mind that God is, and Jesus is who He said He was.
But I still don't understand His ways... just as He told me (us) I (we) wouldn't.

I would be incredibly happy to finally have proof that God is real.

I think your statement is brilliant, and evidence that you are saved. It is difficult for a Christian to admit that we are not actually given an objective 'proof', but must rely on faith.

It's all about faith in something you can not physically see, but know by the evidence that surrounds it is real proof. Application is the only way of knowing what is true and when we apply all of Gods promises to our lives then we see His word made alive in us.

John 20:29 Jesus said to him,"Have you believed because you have seen me? BLESSED are those who have not seen and Yet have believed."

I truly believe we have no words that can describe what Jesus has prepared for His bride. 1 Cor 2:9

As much as I want the rapture to happen, I still have unbelievers in my life I would rather wait a while so they can come with.

We will be busy during the way up in the rapture also! We will be explaining to all the Christians that did not believe in the rapture what the heck is going on!

Thank you Jarrod.... So often when we Christians disagree on something it becomes a battle of salvation. Thanks for this line....

Disagree. There is strong evidence in Revelation that there will be millions saved during the Tribulation.

There is no mention in scripture about a so called secret quiet rapture or a second chance after the saints of God are caught up to meet Jesus in the air as Jesus will descend with a shout and with the trump of God.
Incorrect.
1 Thessalonians 4 NASB
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

I Corinthians 15
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery ; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet ; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
This does not sound like it’s going to be a quiet so called rapture does it and every eye will see him and every knee will bow saints and those who choose to reject Jesus.
You're right. It won't be quiet, or secret. Unbelievers will see the instant disappearance of their friends and family, right before their eyes. Billions will disappear from the face of the Earth, with no earthly explanation for it to adequately explain it. So those remaining will make something up and go on about their lives, living in sin and degradation until such time as the antichrist is revealed and forms the one world government described in the Revelation to John. At that time, the 144,000 Jewish evangelists will arise and preach the gospel just as Christ did, first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. The new believers will be sealed visibly with a mark on their foreheads.
Revelation 7
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,
3 saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads."
Going further into that chapter ...
Revelation 7
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;
10 and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, " Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures ; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
12 saying, " Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."
13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?"
14 I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 "For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple ; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.
Note, they "came out of the great tribulation." The church is to be removed in the rapture. These are new believers, also saved by the blood of the Lamb, by the witness of the Two Witnesses and the 144,000. Therefore, there is the opportunity to be saved during the Tribulation.

The Holy Spirit dwells in us the believers and isn’t something that just floats around in the air so for this reason when we are taken up so is the Holy Spirit giving no one a second chance because we are sealed by Gods Spirit for Salvation and after the Spirit is taken up no one has a second chance.
Again, incorrect. While the Holy Spirit will be removed from the Earth by being taken up with those whom He indwells, that does not preclude Him from continuing to work during the Tribulation as He did in the Old Testament.

Good morning Sister Reba. Where do you get the idea the Holy Spirit will be removed? How would any be any longer guided into truth; He is the very Spirit of truth?

I'm thinking you're referring to 2 Thessalonians 2:7, "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." Are you certain this is talking of the Holy Spirit and why if I might ask. Thanks.

That is the rapture sir. the holy Spirit indwells the believer. He can not leave a body that He seals so the restrainer will come with us.
It is true that the Holy Spirit is never directly named in 2 Thes 2:7 But the only force restraining evil in the world today is clearly the will of God, expressed by the Holy Spirit resident in the church. All attempts to make the scriptures say anything else fail miserably.

Thanks for your reply. I agree with your concept of the Holy Spirit remaining in a believer when caught up, but then some are caught up prior to others; e.g., the following portion of the Church also are sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Revelation 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Somebody's going to have to do the job for Israel and the stubborn unbelievers left behind. They won't be the church. They will be those ... uh ... left behind.
