So what are your favorite sports and sports teams? Just curious. I'll start, since I'm from Ohio,... Go Tribe!!! The Cleveland Indians for sure, but besides baseball I also enjoy NASCAR.

I guess so. Sorry, I didn't realize that I posted this is the wrong category. Oops! But yeah, I do believe that fishing is counted as a sport.

Cool! Oh yeah, and I also forgot to mention that I used to take horseback riding lessons as a kid. I think that counts as a sport. Man, I miss horses. *sigh* The joys of being a city girl now.

Hockey has definitely captured me: It will be even more special if the new team of cast offs wins it all this year, and the Golden Knights rise to drink from the cup in my house!!!

Yes I love sports and competition I even loved coaching youth, showing young men how to act and think like a man and with regard to Jesus , each other and respecting opponents.. A real pleasure in life .. I prefer football, the only team sport imo that there is a position and place for every sized man including manager team helpers .. I've had adrenaline rushes anticipating playing high ranked chess players for the first time with no way to physically use the adrenaline and shook almost violently a couple times .. :lol .. These days ? Shuffleboard anyone ? :lol

NY Yankee Yogi Berra .. When asked would he rather have his pizza cut in 8 slices or 4 Yogi said ''cut it in 4 , I don't think I can eat 8'' :lol

As long as everyone has good sportsmanship then sport is good.

How about saying your opponent played better. The temperature dropped is the best. Lol. Its like Hillary when she lost.

So,... when does the super bowl start? I'm not asking for me by the way. I'm asking because I have a male friend (yes a man and woman can just be really good friends) who is OBSESSED with sports and during baseball or football season I pretty much won't be able to contact him at all. I personally would rather watch the Puppy Bowl with the kitty halftime show, but I don't get Animal Planet anymore unfortunately.

By the way, as I was just lying here watching Titanic I started wondering, has anybody here ever been canoeing or kayaking? I know that when I was a kid I went canoeing a lot. Especially in Girl Scouts.
