Really? Nobody can argue about Richard Feynmann's extremely high intelligence...and if you read any of his non-science related books (and there are alot), you'll realize he has a sense of humor near what you have said any intelligent person wouldn't have.

Professor Lewin at MIT is also a very intelligent person, watch a few of his lectures (http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Physics/8-02Electricity-and-MagnetismSpring2002/VideoLectures/index.htm), and you will realize he was a very "wierd" sense of humor as well. In one lecture, he was trying to create a static charge with a cat skin, and he looked into the audience and told one of his students something along the lines of: "Your coat look likes a good conductor...come up front so I can beat you with my dead cat..."

Please read " Darwin's Black Box".
Well,I'll be sure and keep a dictionary handy at all times now,so that
way I may correct your grammar and spelling too.
I'll decide who needs the most help, because obviously you are not
able to do that for yourself or anyone else.I challenge you to show me what you call good grammar,as well as your evidence that evolution has
been proven. I have a very nice book about Grammar. Perhaps you'd
like to get one for yourself?

I've read "Darwin's Black Box", it was written by a Creationist (ex-atheist though), and he distorts facts and attacks strawmen quite often in his book. Denton may have been good back in the day, but...

:smt043 Actually, most people are born with a certain measure of
intelligence, but thats not wisdom and it's not common sense.
Many people are wise in their own eyes, and if they do one thing that
seems smart, they love to act superior than others. Some believe that
Howard Stern is very intelligent. I do not.
If all life is about is the sex organs, then all life had to start with sex
organs. Orgies and loose sex don't appeal to someone like myself, nor
does childish personalities no matter how smart they think they are.
If sex is so deeply ingrained into people, then life was started with it.
Who ever wishes to be wise must keep themselves from sin.
Rebuke a fool, and he will hate you,but rebuke a wise man,and he will
love you.

Blue.

Did you see what list I posted? Have you seen ANY of those movies? Based on your post, I doubt it.

Why are you so stuck on my intellegence (or my presumed lack thereof).

Being such a drooling idiot, you should be able to destroy my posts with one swift sentence or piece of evidence, though you never have.

Please note I apologized on another thread for such comments I have made in the past. As have many, many others.

You, however, have yet to do so and continue with the ad hominem.

024.gif It's certainly not evolution.

I suggest you actually research evolution further then the biased books you read . I had the same ideas about evolution untill I finally researched the evidence behind it rather then saying there was no evidence .

8-) Thats a lie,but if you don't approve of him, there are many other
excellent authors to choose from. Josh McDowell, and Dave Hunt are very
good. Josh was an atheist too. I love the materials written by ex-atheists
the best. The best way to beat alcohol and drugs is with the help of those
who have been there and know what the struggle is all about.
Henry Morris is another very excellent author you should look into.

You were talking about intelligence, not wisdom nor common sense. And Howard Stern really is a very intelligent person, you are just blinded by his vulgarity (even I must admit he goes over the edge sometimes). And life is not at all just about sex, for I don't know how I would live my life (and enjoy it as much as I do) if it were, because I have no had sex nor do I plan to until I am happily married, have a good, steady income, and can afford the time, money, and love needed to risk having a kid.

:smt024 I do hope you are being honest about your life. That would
be great if it's the truth. Howard Stern cannot be as intelligent as you
think if he's that nasty. At least you claim to understand that what he
does is vulgar.

Atheism is not an addiction, it is a life belief, such as Christianity. You cannot compare atheism to alcohol and drugs without comparing Christianity to it as well. Your giving me ex-atheist material is like me giving you material written by a Christian turned atheist (such as myself). It will not work. The only difference is, that Christians do not argue using facts, but strawmen, because they believe the facts go against there religion. If somebody could positively, without-a-doubt prove God exists to me, then I would have no choice but to believe (or burn, but I'll choose the latter).

Yes, I was being serious about my life (I did not give up Christianity completely--I've kept most, though not all, of the morals). And I do think Howard Stern is intelligent despite his actions, because I do not believe vulgarity determines intelligence. If Einstein used to sit around and talk like Howard Stern, would that make him any less intelligent? No, it would just put his morals on a lower standard.

:smt024 I'm not you though. I have been at many atheist's websites
that do try to explain it,and I have let them try to explain it.
I still cannot believe it,and they have no proof. Without proof, you have
no evidence, but I did get the proof I needed that God exists.
I have it in my life daily now. If God is real, and he is who he says he
is,then evolution is a lie,of course just common sense alone can tell us
that. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is real, and I also
know that you cannot mix evolution with the truth of God.
You have a religion, but it happens to be false.
I'm not you,because I have evidence.Many witnesses too.

You still don't understand the basic ideas underlying evolution. The fact that you argue against strawman positions is evident of that lack of understanding.

:D He has a measure of intelligence, but he has no intelligence
at being a positive role model. I cannot respect that.
Einstein was great at what he was great at,but he too was missing
a great deal. Almost everyone on earth has a certain amount of
intelligence or else how could they be judged right or wrong by a
righteous God? I certainly wouldn't have gone to see Einstein if
I had been around when he was living and ask him to help me
with my life. He was great at some things, not most things.
The Bible is right. It's given me the best advise I have ever had,and
God is the best thing to ever happen to me. God made himself real to
me,and I don't ever want to look back. He also allowed me to know
that the bible is the truth. It may not look like it at first, but it is none
the less. That book is just the most amazing book ever. You cannot
ever know enough about it,amen.

Joseph Heller and Douglas Adams were trenchant, caustic, and utterly genius novelists (the former more than the latter, but still Adams could surely write a fantastic book), yet both were outspoken non-Christians and made a multitude of jokes in their works. Then there's Mark Twain. Twain was one of America's most beloved authors and was known for his talent with working humor into his books. I must confess I've laughed aloud reading Mark Twain's work quite a few times. His humor was quite often non-Christian as well. Are Heller, Adams, and Twain really so stupid because of their wits and occasionally risqué comedic senses?

:smt018 Syn,truth is not a strawman, sorry to burst your bubble on
that one,but it is what it is.
You however, have not witnessed evolution. We do not see animals
in any stage of transition from animal to human. That should have
had some witnesses, yet it didn't and it still doesn't.
I cannot be convinced that evolution is real. I already know it isn't.
I cannot say that I am more intelligent because I know this, because
anyone can know this.
I may be at an advantage in the sense that I searched for the truth
with all my heart and didn't let the world tell me what the truth was,
or where to find it. I just knew that if God was real,I wanted to know.
He let me know, and I haven't been the same ever sense.
I am still me,but I am using it for good, instead of for the things of
this world.I lost most of my friends, and some family members who
couldn't handle the changes in my life. Some people thought I saw
a ghost, and most people didn't know how to act,but they were all
amazed. Some didn't even believe I had really been changed, they
thought it was just a phase, and because I still drank and still had
some of my old habits, they doubted that I was saved. But God took
all desire for alcohol out of me literally, and I don't drink it anymore.
I'm not even tempted to do it. Some don't even believe it was God,but
those that knew me the best know that something powerful did happen.
I didn't go to any meetings or any AA classes. [/b]

We do not see animals in any stage of transition from animal to human.

How do you know? A transitional phase is only determined after speciation, because before it really happens, you can't tell whether it is occuring or not.

On a side note, I don't see how your your not drinking is a sign of God. I don't drink, never have, and I doubt I ever will (no desire), but I attribute that to self-restraint, not God.

:smt041 As I stated, everyone normally has a certain measure of
intelligence.God is not going to judge someone who cannot know right
from wrong. Many Christians were and are great author's,and have
great humor,ect........
I prefer to listen to people who have morals and intelligence.
When you say that the lost are more intelligent than the saved
I will disagree with you. Even a dummy appears wise if he knows
when to keep his mouth shut.
You choose to listen to these men,I choose to listen more to those
who don't approve of loose morals.Unless you know the personal
everyday lives of these people, you cannot know how smart they
were.Good manners or the lack of them is a good sign of who is
more intelligent.

Joseph Heller and Douglas Adams were trenchant, caustic, and utterly genius novelists (the former more than the latter, but still Adams could surely write a fantastic book),

Catch-22 - Without a doubt my favorite book.

"Why'd you steal it [plum tomato] from Colonel Cathcart if you didn't want it?"
"I didn't steal it from Colonel Cathcart!"

"Then why are you so guilty, if you didn't steal it?"

"I'm not guilty!"

"Then why would we be questioning you if you weren't guilty?"
