[_ Old Earth _] Logical reasons for ancient stories

I didn't bother to look at the whole website (rather big, and I don't like to waste time on wrong information), but a few things stick out as wrong just by looking at it:

1. Evolution is not a theory of the universe. Evolution works no matter how the universe started, be it creator or otherwise.

2. Evolution is not a theory of the origin of life. It is a mechanism used by theories of the origin of life, such as abiogenesis, but evolution works regardless of how life started.

And then, I read two articles, "scientists speak out against mutations 2", and the math in that is horribly wrong and the concepts are miss-stated, and "scientists speak out against fossils 1", and the concepts are, once again, miss-stated and this time the claims are downright false. Such as the subsection titled "THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF TRANSITIONAL SPECIES", when there is. There is even evidence of the transitional species from chimpanzee to man, even though most ignorant people such as yourself are misinformed otherwise. After the blatent errors in the whole website, I didn't bother to read more. The whole website was built to attack a strawman version of evolution.

That is the opposite of what a mature adult does. Do you teach your children that they are not responsible for their actions? That it is all up to God so who cares?

Actually, atheist accept FULL responsibility for our lives. My life (which is very good, actually) is mostly a result of my actions.

Random chance placed me in a good home with good parents, in a good country that allows me freedom. But I, and I alone, have made the life I have.

That is what a mature adult does.

Evolution contradicts nature,and it's as plain as the

Evolution has an answer, does the bible?

You wish so desperately that evolution happened,yet
it did not,but you refuse to see that.

I could care less if evolution is 100% accurate or not. When I look at the world, it simply provides the best formula for explaining the world I observe.

At the end of my life, when I die and turn to dust, whether or not I believed in evolution will not matter one hoot. It is completely seperate from my (lack of) beliefs.

You want a fairytale more than truth.

You're right, instead I should believe a 2,000 year old story about talking animals, people rising from the dead, miracles, fishes and loaves and an eternity in hell.

Why would you claim evolution as a proven fact when even scientists don't
do that?

Quath has demonstrated repeatedly that the large majority of scientists support evolution, and that relatively no non-christians support any other theory.

If you disagree, post me evidence to the contrary.

Just because you make broad claims doesn't mean
anyone else has to accept them.

Actually, I am accepting others claims. I have read them, investigated and studied them, and found them valid.

I have no original contributions to the theory of evolution, nor have any ownership in it. I just get disgusted when people molest science to claim a theological victory.

You really messed up trying to look really
smart when you let it be known that you believe in evolution in my honest
opinion. This just lets me know how limited you are.

has been this way from the very beginning. God gave man charge

Mature, intelligent people know better than to believe that their ancestors
