Looking for a Stockbroker who markets Kingdom directed investments.

Huh??
You lost me at the bakery.
But it sounds good.
which would you invest a million dollars in for posterity for your grandkids , children?

banks with an interest rate of less then 2 apr return? or the market with stable funds and gains of over 5 percent or more on average?

when I collect the trust check each month. I receive little from the prinicipal but from the interest it self, all that are on it collectively take out 20 grand a year and it still gains money.

its now a sin to loan, borrow money for a car? mortgage, who has 200000 plus to simply pay off a house? I didn't. taking a loan is a risk, lower risk them markets but that's why they check credit, and work history and income.

practice what you preach, you collect a ssi check? yes. if so then you are receiving money from government gambling. some say a Ponzi scheme. oh that would be me as most government pensions are in fact. robbing the workers to pay those collecting and broke by the time the worker is old enough to collect, such is the case with the pension plan I was on. 59 percent funded. the city paid a group to invest and they lost and had to start taking more money to keep it going. it become a burden and they kept all that have money in it and changed the plans to a roth ira,401a,457k. why is it that I'm the only one here who seems to know this? yall(save civilwarbuff as he agrees with me) seem to not know this.
I'm sorry Jason.
Maybe this just bores me to tears...

That's because it's a bull market now.
If it drops, corrects, or whatever, what happens to your principle???
It gets eaten up.

Hey Runner, I was baptized in Walden Pond, 1985.
I have a picture some where......

Cool! I have a rock from Walden Pond. I had to attend a one-day meeting at Digital Equipment Corporation in the 1980s. I insisted we make a quick pit stop at Walden so I could at least see it. Thoreau is one of my "household gods." His essay "Life Without Principle" should be read by everyone.

why you shouldn't invest. it doesn't to me as I have the mind for math and accounting. my wife has no clue on retirement. I learned from the military, coworkers and also family who are investment bankers. I have three. my trustee who was a banker for years and now is semi retired. my wife's cousin who does that for wells fargo, and also I believe another member of her side. so I ask them often. before I was told to go to the 401a, I was briefed on what was what. I wished I saved more earlier. I plan to up my contributions into the 457k this week. I have got a raise and also deductions have changed. the more I save, the less likely I will be in need in the future

Yes, I collect a Social Security check, and yes I paid into it all my life.
What if the government defaults and I get no more checks?
I don't trust in the government that they won't default.
I trust in Jesus that he will continue to provide for me, however he chooses to do it.
Yes, your situation is different than mine.
No, I will not judge you on how you choose to deal with your situation.
But you know something, I've always been poor and I've always trusted in Jesus because I have no other way.
Go figure, today at age 67, I have no debt, I give more to the poor than I ever did before, and I have no worldly needs.
Some people overspend to keep up with America's standards and are destroyed financially because of it.
"Less worldly desires, less money needed".
Hey, did I just come up with that?
Not bad!

Digital?
That was in Maynard, wasn't it?

So are Farmers gamblers also? We never know what mother nature may do next, could farmers be considered gamblers also. Always gambling on what the weather may do next? ;)

if its a risk, its not most of the principle is into oh utilities like duke energy, exxon, Texaco, etc,low risks.

of course there is risk, the government when you are dead will not have the money to pay me my social security, and medicare as they are broke already. you aren't going to convince me , I follow what goes on with ss, medicare,

That's cool how you never answer a question, but just keep countering with your own questions.
Makes you sound smart...to some...

I'm not trying to convince you Jason.
You sound really smart about this.
My brain just can't handle it.
This doesn't mean I don't know anything...
You keep doing the best you can.

you will be hit, if you don't die in 16 years( ss wont be able to pay your full check by 2033.)

so you argue just trust in Jesus, don't invest but pray that the government form of a gambling as you say it is.(bonds are sold to the market for any willing buyer and are paid back base on the faith the governemt which is a type of vow).

yet say I shouldn't pray to wisely invest my money by seeking out those who know and learning about this. I'm not by any meaNS AND EXPERT

MY Investment planning hinges on the fact ss will not be able to pay in 16 years. its why I stayed in as long as I could since my pension with the military is funded by the dod, not ss trust actions and starts earlier(60) verses the 62-67 age frame or later to collect with ss.

I also loose money from the ss because of that but given the likely hood of that the guard pension will exceed the ss pension I'm looking to be ok.

don't forget bonds are sold to municaplities for power plant production and also insurance, a form of gambling of if you are risk to make money of . the more claims you make the higher the risk, thus they charge you more as you cost them money. its a type of gambling for them with you, whether health,(though the rates are as quick to change) fire, life and car insurance.

I said nothing about living beyond ones means. but yeah you living in my county with a measily 1500 month at the most and in need of a nursing home. few can take you, medicare? that is taken from your ss check. ss isn't meant to be your support only but as a supplement. I wish people knew this earlier, I wish I did.

Wasn't that a parable?
Was He really talking about money?
No, he was not talking about money. However, Jesus' parables were always something that the people of his day could relate to; hence doing something with money to make it grow instead of hiding it is analogous to doing something with your faith to make it grow instead of hiding it. Growing/investing money was as common in His day as it is in ours.......

I don't come unglued if a Christian wants to invest in the stock market, even though I never have. Just don't pretend to be doing something "Biblically responsible," please. Don't call what you are doing a "ministry," please.

What has been demonstrated to my satisfaction at least 187,293 times over the course of my 67 years is the axiom that Money Is the Real God of This World. This is true of Christians and non-Christians alike. There is almost no one whose moral, ethical and religious principles will not be compromised when a sufficient sum of Money is involved. A Christian may worship God in the abstract, but the vast majority worship Money with all their hearts, souls and minds and love their Money as themselves. If Money is not the God you actually worship during your time in this world, you are a rare bird indeed.

I would like to say that it isn't, but I have been guilty. I hate the way at times the church treats those who are poor from low paying jobs, lack of work. materialism is indeed a problem in the church, I try not to get caught up on it. I wouldn't call investing a ministry but you can say one can be guided to be honest in running a firm of that nature as you are a believer.
