Just saying ,voting republican will if you want to be educated have learning the market workings. I had to inquire a few times.

I mean, we can't do without everything.
But have no fear...
Happiness is not in products...but in our knowing God.
It's good even to teach kids (your daughter) that happiness is different from joy. Happiness is fleeting - joy lasts forever.

Yet one is arguing that investing ,and having a ministry how to teach Godly investment for retirement is unbiblical.

I picked up you would have to pay someone to invest for you. News flash the leading causes of divorce is money issues and vet suicide is the same.so much with the later that va teaches financial planning and marital courses ,also a reason for suicide.

If the gov't sees it why can't the church teach that?

Stress,it's not a simple off switch.God's got it in all cases.I can assure you He doesn't purge bad painful memories. A bad day can tip you and take you over the edge .

It doesn't bother me to talk money.I could go into the trial looming for me come Christmas.

Legally they have to tell you and advise you what to invest.the sec will punish those that take your money and don't invest your money where you tell them.

A dishonest investor can of cpurse swindle you but it catches up to them .think madoff,enron,solyndra etc

One has to trust your planner, never said that wasn't wise.
I get runners point with a conflict of interest ,but shall we dance with christian legal advice, lawyers.I have seen a family law firm donate to a ministry.

Gambling is a simple get rich fast versus I need money to invest so that I can have money to create,expand a business.it's a risk you ask to share with the promise of a mutual benefit.gambling is the opposite in that the dealer learns to manipulate you to play and takes your money and you do the same to him.

The stock market is a gamble because if something big happens, it WILL affect the stock market. OTOH, what WON'T it affect?

i am not a financial Guru by any means a country singer by the name of john Anderson had a song every thing that glitters is not Gold...i have a 4O1k through work its small nest egg i also have a IRA with the bank that nets me build up like our rain has been past few months not much .
i dont buy the economy is growing i dont buy jobs are being made by leaps and bounds . in fact there is very little i buy that the world says...the way i see it everything in life is a gamble except Salvation . if one can make a investment and do it morally and make a profit go for it after all is not money the root of all evil ?
my dad use to buy some real state many years ago and resell it made some money but nothing Big . he had a 8th grade education ran a successful grocery store in a town of about 300 .
i see post no life insurance no this no that i trust God... God gave us a brain to prepare for the future , Christian men like j.c penny made good money through investments. i believe done right through God not a thing wrong with it . just dont rob a older widow lady of a property worth 20 thousand and only give them a thousand ....

The LOVE of money IS the root of all evil.
Some never have enough. Even hundreds of millions --- it's like a disease.
Or maybe they love what they're doing and can't stop -- difficult to figure it out.
But kids get left alone all day and with nannies and other habits that are not good, and for what? 100 million dollars isn't enough for one lifetime???

I also agree that we're taken for fools.
The economy is NOT growing.
Not only that, but we're becoming poorer and poorer and I still can't figure out why. I think the reason is because the top layer wants us poor. But I don't know why. Maybe poor people are easier to control ?

Sounds like sci-fi...except it's not.
Lucky for those who know God and don't worry about this all day long.
