- ENCOURAGING PEOPLE IS A POWERFUL WEAPON!

- SOMETIMES WE CAN ALSO ENCOURAGE BY OUR PRESENCE MEANING IT IS NOT ALWAYS NECESSARY TO SAY A WORD!

- THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING!

- IN A MEAL WE CAN ADD SALT OR PEPPER TO MAKE IT TASTIER!

- SOMETIMES IT IS GOOD WITHOUT SALT AND PEPPER!

- He offers them a DELICIOUS ONE, I would say THE BEST ONE BY FIGHTING BACK WITH ALL HIS STRENGTH AND FROM THE PIT!

Job 6:26

- As Job says, he speaks because he is desperate and his desperation goes away!


- Every word is DESPERATION!


- But they don’t care! That is a huge mistake! No, it is unforgivable!


- They are pitiless!

- They are of no help!

- May we listen to Job not to follow their examples and be helpful by listening and comforting and being positive and help to recover!

- Of course, there are many different situations where to find desperation!

- And there are different levels of desperation!

- Of course, Job was not going to die!

- Probably, the hardest desperation is when people are going to die!

- It’s not the time to wake up when people are dead!

- We must do something when they are still alive!

- When we are present, we show that we care!

- It is important to take advantage of any minute to show people that we love them or appreciate them!

- Having to deal with someone who is quadriplegic is also difficult!

- Of course, the person is not going to die!

- Thus there is always hope!

- Let’s think about Stephen Hawking the physicist: he could only use his brain but he did it in such a way and the specialists only gave him a short time to live and he could prove them to be wrong!

- It’s not easy to stop being able to walk and run and do many things with the legs!

- But there are so many examples of people who are doing sport being paraplegic!

- And at first, they may get depressed!

- But we have our legs and we can go for a walk with them pushing their wheelchairs and nature is so beautiful and has so much to offer and so much life!

- And we can help them do some sport!

- And mental activities are also important!

- Think about blind people and how they can compensate for the loss of sight!

- There are always ways to enjoy life and studying the Bible is an essential one to keep hope in spite of what happens every day in the world!

Job 6:27

You would also cast lots over an orphan

And sell your own friend!

- Job’s words are really hard!

- But sometimes and often it is important to tell things as it has to be told!

- Otherwise we may regret it!

- And Job invites us to remember his words and not act like the three individuals who came to see him to help him but did the reverse!

- Of course, when we act stupidly, we need to be told!

- But someone who is desperate or depressed first needs people to understand how he feels and to listen to him and to be encouraged to go back to life gradually and not too fast!

- Imagine someone who has been in a coma and must learn everything again!

Job 6:28

Job tells the three men to turn and look at him!

Because he is not going lie in front of them!

- When we speak to people, do we really look at them?

- It doesn’t mean looking at the person all the time because to concentrate it is necessary to close one’s eyes or close the doors and the windows and get inside!

- But at least when the person expresses his feelings or moves we must watch carefully to interpret!

- He tells them not to misjudge him!

- Because his righteousness is intact!

- It is quite easy to misjudge, probably mainly because of appearances or because of bad experiences or lack of experiences!

-The first word of this verse is essentially “Reconsider”!

- We may have or take the wrong approach or influence but it is better to recognize it and change it if or when necessary!

- Think about how you would react to the same situation at different ages of your life or even during the same day at different times of the day!

- Just thinking about reconsidering may change everything and sometimes your whole life!

- There are always different options!

- Of course, sometimes we need to hurry but even so!

Job 6;30

- Job asks if he speaks unfairly!

- Or if he can discern if words are bad!

- Job is in total distress!

- He knows it perfectly!

- No need to tell him!

- For these guys, it seems impossible to help!

- How easy it is to make a situation worse!

- Sometimes it is better no to say a word, sometimes it is better to act!

- But these guys, they have it all wrong and each time they make it worse!

- It helps to understand why God uses special hard training for his faithful ones!

Job 7:1

- Job speaks about human life on earth as compulsory labor, as if men were hired workers, even slaves!

- Compulsory labor, hired workers, slaves: it sounds like slavery, displeasure, unhappiness!

- Of course, Job is down the pit and thus he speaks about his condition!

- He employs precise words to express or convey his precise condition and real feelings!

- How is it possible to be insensitive?

- Well, the three individuals are and not only them!
