1 Timothy 3:16 the church of the living God is the true body of Christ with He being the head of the body. It's the living God that is the pillar and the ground of truth through His Holy Spirit, not the people.

The Apostles are not the light of the world, nor is any man as only Jesus is that light that needs to be shining through us that others will see Christ in us, John 1:1-14. John 16:4-13 is all the work of the Holy Spirit that works in us and through us to speak all truths. Matthew 28:19 is also the commision given to all of us that God has called to take the Gospel message out into the world. It did not end with just the Apostles.

The church, being the body of Christ, are one in the Spirit as Christ being the head of the body, Colossians 1:15-23. I see nowhere in Acts 9:4 or Ephesians 5:32 saying the church and Christ are one.

Just like the Apostles all who are in Christ and He in them have the same commission as we take the word of God out into the world in all truths given us by the Holy Spirit.

No, I do not believe in the false teaching of soul sleep, but I do believe what Jesus has said in that verse.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Here dust + breath/spirit from God = a living soul. When the flesh dies physically it returns back to the dust of the ground and our spirit is preserved with God for final judgment.

Ecc 12:7 then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

We return to the dust of the ground when this physical body dies and our breath/spirit returns to God as we wait for Gods final judgment when Christ returns.

Jesus only comes once and at that time will bring His reward to those of the first resurrected who are made righteous by that of Gods grace. The second resurrection are those who have rejected Gods grace and their reward is that of an eternity in the lake of fire. 1Corinthians Chapter 15; Revelation 20:6, 15.

This body/flesh dies and deteriorates as it turns back to dust while in the ground. The breath/spirit goes back to God who gave it, Ecc 12:7. The soul which makes up the conscious part of ones being is that of thought, action and emotion. The spiritual nature of man regarded as immortal and separable from the body/flesh at death and susceptible to happiness or misery in a future state.

Without the spirit/breath from God our soul would not be alive as spirit and soul are connected, Genesis 2:7. When we physically die our soul, as the breath, goes back to God who gave it. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 speaks of the resurrection of the dead as those who have died that are the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus as this is the first resurrection. We will not be raised from the grave in our old physical bodies, but will be raised with new Glorified bodies which we not know what we will look like, but will be like Christ, 1John 3:1-3.

Malachi 3:1 The Coming of Yahweh

“Behold I sending messenger of Me and he will prepare Way before Me, and suddenly He will Come to temple of Him the Lord, Whom you seeking, and the Messenger of the Covenant, Whom you delighted behold Coming says Yahweh of Hosts” (Literal English from the Hebrew)

It is very clear from this passage in Malachi, which is a Prophecy of the Coming of Yahweh, as Spoken by Yahweh Himself.

The first “mălʼâk”, messenger, is none other than John the Baptist. As we read in Mark 1:1-4

“The beginning of the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in the prophets, “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you: the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord! Make his paths straight!’” John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins”

The citation in this passage in Mark, is from two Prophecies in the Old Testament, on the Great Coming of Yahweh. The first is from the passage in Malachi 3:1, and the second, from Isaiah 40:3-5:

“The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain. Yahweh’s glory shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.”

In both passages, we have The Speaker as Yahweh Himself, Who Speaks of His own Coming.

The second “mălʼâk”, we have in Malachi 3:1, is “The Messenger of the Covenant”, Who is also “The Lord (hā·’ā·ḏō·wn)”, Jesus Christ.

The Way prepared by John the Baptist, is for the Coming of Yahweh Himself, Who is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. The Four Gospel Accounts are very clear, that the passage in Isaiah, is fulfilled in the First Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is also The Coming of ʼĕlôhîym.

It is abundantly clear from the actual Testimony of Scripture, that The Coming of Jesus Christ, is the fulfilment of Old Testament Prophecy, for The Coming of Yahweh.

It is beyond comprehension, how some would argue, that Jesus Christ is in any way “inferior” to God the Father, and not Almighty God? The Testimony from the very Word of God, in the Holy Bible, clearly Teaches, that God the Son, Himself Yahweh, was the Person Who Came, Who was Born of the Virgin Mary.

There is not a single verse in the entire 66 Books of the Holy Bible, that says, God the Father ever came to earth!

Both passages of Prophecy in the Old Testament, are literally fulfilled in The Coming of The Lord Jesus Christ.

We have in Malachi and Isaiah, Jesus Christ as referred to as Yahweh and ʼĕlôhîym, which is impossible to be used for a created person, or anyone who is not Almighty God. The Name Yahweh means the Uncreated, Eternal, Self-Existing, Creator God.

Anyone who will still believe in the heresy, that Jesus Christ is a created person, and not coequal with God the Father, especially when the Bible Teaches that He is, has been deceived by the father of lies, the devil!

No other conclusion can be arrived at, from the Testimony of Scripture, as we see, that Jesus Christ is indeed Himself, YHWH, and therefore 100% COEQUAL with God the Father, in the Eternal Godhead.

That's a great passage of OT scripture showing the Diety of Jesus. Here's another good one,

I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes? Hos.13:10

They said, give me a king, back in Samuels' day, so God gave them Saul, because they didn't want God (1Sam.8.)

So God comes as a human king and they don't want him. God is hilarious.

It's not about all the various church doctrines, especially the doctrines of man that sets their own rules of how the Church is governed and what they are allowed and not allowed to preach. The word of God is being so censored and distorted by man that so many are being carried away into believing the lies of Satan.

What is truth and what is error. My priest or my pastor, or my rabbi etc. etc.. does not teach that is becoming a social acceptable word of God that says the majority rules and if you come against the majority then you are not a Christian or that you have no knowledge in the word of God. There will be no division of denominations/non-denominations in the New Jerusalem, but only those who are Christ own. It's not about religion as God does not recognize organized religions, but is only about us having a personal Spiritual relationship with Christ and being obedient to His commands.

One says I am Catholic as another says I am protestant, or I am Hindu or Buddhist or Muslim or whatever and each one claims to have all truths, but we can clearly see the divisions, which there should not be any division. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God, but again, we see that not everyone is hearing what the Holy Spirit is trying to teach us in all truths. We can not pick and choose what we want to believe in the written word of God and reject the rest as we need the full counsel of God.

When Christ returns He is coming for His own. He is not coming back for those who have religion, but that are Spiritually born again and indwelled with His Holy Spirit that walk in obedience to His commands. Now we have two choices as we can listen to the doctrines of man that many are indoctrinated in, or we listen to what the Holy Spirit wants to teach us. If one has truly put on Christ then they are Christ own and will be caught up to meet Him in the air when Jesus returns and sends His angels out to the four corners of the world to gather His own to Him.

Then please explain why there are over 5000 different religions in the world claiming they are the only true religion. Did God create over 5000 different religions, or did He give us His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will have eternal life. It's all about faith and obedience to His commands.

Jesus is coming for His Bride that is holy and unblemished. He is coming for His Church which is not for walls with a name on the building and the doctrines of man inside, but is coming for His body as He is the head of the body.

Please show me in the scriptures where it says anything about our faith is to be catholic and divine.

There is no division within the kingdom of God such as Catholic or Protestant nor Jew or Greek etc. etc. as it is all by faith that whosoever believe in Christ Jesus and confesses Him as Lord and Savior will have eternal life with Him.

It is the Father in heaven, not the Pope or Priest or anyone else here on earth that reveals to us who Christ Jesus is as it was revealed to Peter that day. The rock is that of believing who Christ is as the Christ, the Son of the living God. And it is that belief (rock) that Christ built His true Church on as we who are of belief and of faith in Christ Jesus makes up the true body of Christ with He being the head of the body. When Christ returns He is not coming back for Catholics or Protestants, but His true Church being the body of Christ.

Latin root word for religion is bondage, which is different then that of Gods pure religion of James 1:27, but that of following tradition and the doctrine of a mans church, not Gods true Church. The Latin root word is religare as re is a prefix that means return and ligare means to bind. Religion tells you what you can and cannot do and becomes socially acceptable by mans interpretations, traditions and doctrines. Religion is what nailed Christ to the cross because the Bible is not socially acceptable to society, if it were then Christ would have died in vain. God is not about mans religion, nor does he recognize religion. God is about a personal relationship with you and His son Jesus Christ.
