Mary’s mediatrix in Jn 2

The the one mediator is not absolute law and anyone in union with Christ shares in His ministry by prayer.

Amen?

Anyone who is in Christ is a priest.

Because you are in Christ doesn’t mean you are the one Mediator.

Yes but the wine represents the grace of the new covenant thats why it says: you saved the best for last”

And you don’t put new wine which represents grace in old wine skins which refers to the mosaic covenant
The new wine, the new covenant are found only in Jesus.
Acts4:
let it be known to you and to all the people of Israel that it was in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom you crucified, and whom God raised from the dead, that this man standing before you was cured. 11 This is

‘the stone rejected by you, the builders,
that has become the cornerstone.’

12 There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.”
From New Catholic Bible
Verse 12 Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved
From Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

It is Jesus and Jesus alone who saves.

Who saved Jesus?

What sin did Jesus commit to where He needs a Savior.

Jesus is salvation.
Is that the only reason of necessity of a savior?

Jesus has a savior of course, St. Joseph saved Him from certain death at the hands of herod!

Amen!

The law of sin and death.

Have you ever heard of it?

The soul that sins must die.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Genesis 2:16-17

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. Ezekiel 18:20

Who saved Jesus?
Now that shows how poor your Christian theology is.
Who is Jesus? Not Mary's son, but the incarnation of the eternal creator God, the Son of God.
Charles Wesley in one of his hymns expressed it beautifully.
" our God contracted to a span, incomprehensibly made man. "

Jesus was the God/man, the only living person who has been without sin, and as a consequence he could be the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sin, our guilt, our shame, bearing our punishment.

He did not need saving but every human from Adam through and including Mary to the last human need his salvation.

St. Joseph saved Him from certain death at the hands of herod!

Mary is the Mother of the eternal word incarnate!

Please be accurate. Matthew 2:13-15. GOD warned Joseph to flee to Egypt.

Yes Mary gave birth to and brought up Jesus.

Have you ever studied the preaching of the apostles?
It's very interesting how they constantly bring up that salvation is through Jesus.
Can you point to an apostles preaching in the bible that teaches that it is Mary who saves?

There is only one savior! Jesus Christ!
Mary is His mother and the means of His comming to us

Eve: Disobedience / offense / curse / loss of grace and salvation!

Mary: obedience / faithful / pleasing to God / blessings / full of grace / redemption & salvation!

Is Eve regarded as the source, the mother of all evil the mediator of evil?

Yes Mary was, obedience, Faithfull, pleasing to God and a blessing to all mankind.

But that is it. No one is saved through praying to Mary.
She is many things but being part of salvation is not one of them.

If Mary obtain for us “our salvation” then she can obtain all things

God’s gifts are without repentance

Mary did not obtain our salvation.
To claim this is like the mother of a doctor claiming she obtained the healing of the doctors patients.

Gods gifts of salvation etc are conditional on our repenting from our sins.

Mary brought the eternal word unto men!

The ark of the covenant is important and the ark of the mosaic covenant was a type of Mary as was the temple the holy of holies!

The Holy & mystical city of God!

Saint Ephraem, affectionately known as the “Harp of the Holy Spirit.”

Mary was made heaven on our behalf by bearing the divinity which Christ, without leaving the glory of the Father, enclosed in the narrow confines of her womb so as to lead men to greater dignity. He chose her alone from the whole assembly of virgins to be an instrument of our salvation. In her the oracles of all just men and prophets found their fulfillment. From her was born that brilliant star under whose guidance the people who walked in darkness saw a great light.
Mary can be called very appropriately by different names. She is the temple of the Son of God, who came forth from her in a different way from which he had entered; for he had entered her womb without a body, and came forth clothed in one. She is the mystical new heaven, in which the King of kings dwelt as in his abode, and from which he came down to earth in an earthly form and likeness. She is the fruitful vine of gentle fragrance. Her fruit, though absolutely differing in nature from the stock, was necessarily changed by the stock to be like it.
She is the fountain springing from the house of the Lord, from which flowed living waters to the thirsty who, even just tasting them with the lips, would never thirst. Is it wrong, beloved, to think that the day of Mary’s reparation can be compared with another day of creation? In the beginning the earth was created; through her it is renewed. In the beginning its activity was cursed by the deed of Adam; through her peace and security is restored. In the beginning, death entered all through the sin of their first parents, but now we have been transferred from death to life. In the beginning, the serpent through the attention of Eve’s ears, spread poison to the whole body; now Mary receives through her ears the author of perpetual happiness. What was an instrument of death, now stands as an instrument of life.
He who sits above the Cherubim is now held in a woman’s arms. He whom the whole world cannot contain, Mary alone embraces. He whom Thrones and Dominations fear, a young girl protects. He whose dwelling is eternal, sits on the lap of a virgin. He who has the earth for a footstool, steps on it with the feet of a child.

None of this is biblical and as such is irrelevant.

Search scripture you will not find in the preaching or teaching there reference to people calling on or praying to or trusting in Mary for salvation.

No one has eternal salvation accept thru Mary

God clothed mary with grace (rev 12:1) that she might cloth the eternal word with flesh and blood!

Lk 1:30 Mary found favor with God! “Our salvation” lost by adam & eve

Entire divine favor!

All grace & mercy:
All gifts & fruits of the HS:
All the virtues & merits of Christ:

God is the “source and first cause,” of all good, this does not exclude another immediate cause that is chosen and authorized by God to accomplish His will & purpose!

Examples:

Noah:
Moses:
Joshua:

(Primary cause)

God is the source, first, & remote cause of the salvation of the family of Noah from the flood!

(Secondary cause)

Noah is the “immediate” cause of the salvation of the family of Noah from the flood!

Noah believed God:
Noah consented to God will & plan of salvation:
Noah puts his faith into action by obedience to God & building the ark:

(Primary cause)

God is the source, first, & remote cause of the salvation of the children of Israel from Egypt!

(Secondary cause)

Moses is the immediate cause of the salvation of the of the children of Israel from Egypt!

Moses puts his faith into action by obedience to God, going back to Egypt and delivering the children of Israel from bondage.

(Primary cause)

God is the source, first, & remote cause of the children of Israel entering the promised land!

(Secondary cause)

Joshua is the immediate cause of the children of Israel entering the promised land!

Joshua puts his faith into action by obedience to God, and leading the children of Israel into the promised land.

These are “type and figures of our salvation!”

Mary & The great affair of “our salvation!”

(Primary cause)

God is the source, first, & remote cause of “our salvation!”

(Secondary cause)

Mary is the immediate cause of “our salvation!”

Mary found grace with God. Lk 1:30

Mary believed God. Lk 1:45

Mary put her faith into action by obedience to God by consenting to “our salvation.”

Mary consented to “our salvation.” Lk 1:38

And By the conception of the Holy Spirit!

Mary is the fruitful virgin who conceived by the power of the most high. Matt 1:

And by bearing in Her sacred womb “our salvation.”

And by giving birth to “our salvation.”

Mary gave birth to “our salvation.”

You would never say: “Noah had zero to do with the salvation of his family from the flood!” Or that “Moses had zero to do with the salvation of children of Israel from bondage in Egypt,” or that Joshua has zero to do with the children of Israel entering the promised land.”

Many things not in scripture.

Jn 16:12
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Jn 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

There is no scripture that says women can receive holy communion or any showing them receiving it.

The Holy Spirit inspired the scriptures but the God breathed apostolic church decided the canon of scripture!

What is and what is not scripture!

The scriptures belong to the church, they are the churches witness of Christ acts 1:8
Not an encyclopedia, or catechism, or creed
