1.) John 4:3 - "And every spirit that dissloveth Jesus is not of God. And this is the Antichrist of whom you have heard that he commeth:and he is now already in the world."

Dissloveth means what? satan has always been in the world, from Gen. to Rev. (as per past post!) Adam's 1st. born was his first earthly convert.

Do you know of any Popes that did not love Jesus? Or expressed hatred toward Jesus?

You can't be serious! Try 1 John 2:4 & Revelation 22:18-19 for starters of changing the Word of God! Compare Ecclesiastes 3:14! Not only is the name is to be removed from the book of life, but the 'whole of the Apostate fold' (Revelation 2:5) & the ones that do not obey Revelation 18:4! Do you know of any Pope that ever did Love Christ is the question! 'If ye love Me keep my commandments' No Pope ever has to my knowledge, in fact they boast of changing the 7th Day Sabbath. So you need to know what you are talking about!

2.) 2 John 7 - "For many seducers are gone out into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a seducer and an Antichrist."

If you are refering to John's penmanship? You need to understand the Doctrine of Christ & what it is. It is not two verses! Even John many books + Rev. is not enough to understand Christ's Command in Matthew 4:4 or His WORD of 2 Timothy 3:16. The bottom line is that the 'fold' claims to be a Christian fold, and at the same time is one of the most openly polluted church's in history! And your below 'profession' (only) would make several denomination with that claim! Even your friend Martin Luther, huh?

It is basic Catholic doctrine that the Word was made flesh. No Pope or Council ever denied this mystery.

Here is something that I've come across. Jesus did say that but you have to look at the context that it's in. He is warning about putting someone up above what they actually are(i.e. putting a human up as being a spiritual and perfect being).

Matthew 15:4
For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

Matthew 19:19
Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

These are just a few scriptures that reference people other than GOD as father. Most of them are coming from Jesus's own mouth. This means there is only 1 explanation, that in Matthew Jesus is talking about not calling someone father, pastor, rabbi, etc. in a particular context. Otherwise, he does what he commands us not to do. What is a ruler that does not follow his own rules?

Since there were no more than 75 million people in Europe at any one time during the time period spoken I guess those Popes and Bishops were pretty much spending all their time knifing people. That's how they kept the Bible from them I guess. They just killed everybody in the Church. Your post sounded kind of wacko to me. :o I don't know about anyone else. Authors who are rational and actually have studied the matter put the numbers at more like 5000 at most. Most put to death by the state, which the scriptures tell us (roman 14) has the authority to use the sword for those who disrupt society. Protestants did the same thing in their countries. People of EVERY denomination (including SDAs) tend to follow the leader because they believe that the leader is somewhat divine and would not be capable of misguiding them. People are people. They place their implicit trust in the leader and usually have only a smattering, if that, of scriptural knowledge. They really don't require it since the leader does most of the thinking for them. They are merely receptacles and will usually jump whenever the leader calls 'frog.'

In the case of catholicism this is particularly the case since their leader is recognized as the mouthpiece of God the world over. He is known as infallible, if not inerrant. World leaders (themselves leaders) pay homage to the pope as though he WERE God! If he tells his flock of millions that they can now eat meat on a Friday then, by golly, they can now eat meat on Friday. So sayeth the pope. He really IS God on earth in the minds of many.
