Is any place and seat and situation better in any way than the place he occupies today? It is His rightful place, enthroned as the King of all kings over all the Earth as promised by God. He will have received His promised Bride for whom He died, having paid her dowry, and joined with her, He will rule the nations, receiving all honour due Him as well. He will be the Prince of peace, bringing peace and goodness and order to the Earth, for which it was created.

I'll ask you some logistical questions later.
When has He not been King of Kings? When has He not reigned. He stepped down from Heaven once.
possess ? What is not His?
Nope not me.
I see the disire of man to see King of Glory setting on a human throne as an insult.
But back to the thread.
We wouldn't desire His return if He didn't say He was coming!
You need to get into the Word, as you are refuting the truth of scripture for no good reason.
will sit upon the literal throne of David in Jerusalem with me by His side
First off Yes , i agree He will return .
Our views differ . I did not refute scripture just another persons view, or understanding. You have stated Jesus
Are you sure that is a literal throne?
Davids literal chair. Or could the scriptures be about Jesus ruling His kingdom from the mists of his people as David did? Which to me is Isa 16:5
Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
To me Christ was born King given the Kingdom and there was/is no end.
Was Dave's rule, nation and throne typical of anything? There is no lesser or better. The Earthly throne is a place promised to him, which He shall possess at the right time.
Can you cite any apostle teaching this? What is not His? People's hearts...millions upon millions of them.
One day, as promised, Jesus my king will sit upon the literal throne of David in Jerusalem with me by His side. You too?
Hmmm So when God set forth the plan that Jesus would come to earth to to the work of the cross and being raised from the dead ascend to the Throne and send the Comforter-He mad a mistake .You have implyed above that Christ's bodily presence is necessary to for him to gain the reward of his sacrfice. It follows then the God's plan outlined above is inadequate to fulfill his purpose. What is not His? People's hearts...millions upon millions of them.

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
I think Reba is pointing out the apostiloc teaching that the natural and by nature lesser, preceeds the spiritual and by nature greater.thats talking about the resurection, not the question at hand.
