Herein defined as the personal ,bodily present , rule of Christ from Jerusalem ,lasting 1,000 years.

One question;

What is in it for Him?

It is His rightful place, enthroned as the King of all kings over all the Earth as promised by God. He will have received His promised Bride for whom He died, having paid her dowry, and joined with her, He will rule the nations, receiving all honour due Him as well. He will be the Prince of peace, bringing peace and goodness and order to the Earth, for which it was created.

Is any place and seat and situation better in any way than the place he occupies today?

I'll ask you some logistical questions later.

There is no lesser or better. The Earthly throne is a place promised to him, which He shall possess at the right time.

When has He not been King of Kings? When has He not reigned. He stepped down from Heaven once.

possess ? What is not His?

What is not His? People's hearts...millions upon millions of them.

One day, as promised, Jesus my king will sit upon the literal throne of David in Jerusalem with me by His side. You too?

Nope not me.

I see the disire of man to see King of Glory setting on a human throne as an insult.

throne noun \ˈthrōn\
Definition of THRONE

1
a : the chair of state of a sovereign or high dignitary (as a bishop) b : the seat of a deity

Is David's literal chair still around? Sorry about he BIG font still learning the ropes here.

But back to the thread.

But back to the thread.

We wouldn't desire His return if He didn't say He was coming!

You need to get into the Word, as you are refuting the truth of scripture for no good reason.

Revelation 20:1-6

The Thousand Years

1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a thousand years. 3 The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he must be released for a little while.

4 Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.

These arejust three of many prophetic references to Jesus on the literal throne of David...

Isaiah 9:6-7 NLT
6 For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David
for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
will make this happen!

Isaiah 16:5 NLT
5Then in mercy and loving-kindness shall a throne be established, and One shall sit upon it in truth and faithfulness in the tent of David, judging and seeking justice and being swift to do righteousness.

Luke 1:32 NLT
He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.

Revelation 22 says:

'Even so, come Lord Jesus.'

This is what Christians are waiting for.

We wouldn't desire His return if He didn't say He was coming!

First off Yes , i agree He will return .

Our views differ . I did not refute scripture just another persons view, or understanding. You have stated Jesus
will sit upon the literal throne of David in Jerusalem with me by His side

Are you sure that is a literal throne?
Davids literal chair. Or could the scriptures be about Jesus ruling His kingdom from the mists of his people as David did? Which to me is Isa 16:5

Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

To me Christ was born King given the Kingdom and there was/is no end.

He is and always has been our spiritual King, but the Bible is clear He will realize the promise of the throne of David for ONE THOUSAND (1,000) years. That is not figurative. That is literal.

If one takes 1,000 to be undending(eternal) the kindly explaind to me this in the book of revalation.

and at the END of the 1,000 years

revalation 20:7-9 kjv

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

thats talking about the resurection, not the question at hand.

Was Dave's rule, nation and throne typical of anything?

So seated in heaven next to the Father surrounded in glory is no better than coming to earth where sin and death still operate even to the point of resulting in open rebellion after 1,000 years of perfect rule?

Can you cite any apostle teaching this?

Hmmm So when God set forth the plan that Jesus would come to earth to to the work of the cross and being raised from the dead ascend to the Throne and send the Comforter-He mad a mistake .You have implyed above that Christ's bodily presence is necessary to for him to gain the reward of his sacrfice. It follows then the God's plan outlined above is inadequate to fulfill his purpose.
In reality though Christ seated in Heaven and the Holy Spirit ministering on earth is the best possible program for expansion of the kingdom. If there were a better way God would have used it.

To answer a general question

There is a tone in many posts that calls for Christ to at soen future point take his rightful place.

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

As you can see Paul tells us that was accomplished when God crowned him with bodily resurrection.

I think Reba is pointing out the apostiloc teaching that the natural and by nature lesser, preceeds the spiritual and by nature greater.

Natural Israel in that way preceeds spiritual Israel. And that is the pattern, allowing for no circular motion back to the natural.
