[_ Old Earth _] Monsanto attempts takedown of agency linking its weedkiller to cancer

Looking over what I can find out about it, there's some evidence that Roundup can induce lymphoma. But the data is far from conclusive. Maybe it does. I use it, but I wash my hands, and I'm careful about how I store it and apply it carefully to avoid excessive spray.

It's like the finding that char-broiled stakes can induce cancer. I still eat them.

I'm not criticizing anyone who does otherwise, and people using the chemical should be kept from exposing their neighbors to it. The epidemic of childhood asthma and the lowering sperm counts in males in developed nations is a sign that we're too ready to use chemicals. But I'm not going to live in fear of Roundup.
