Brother Classik, Moses’ sin was unbelief resulting in anger. He was told to speak to the Rock in Num 20:8, but struck it twice instead in Num 20:11.

Num 20:12 The LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

As the result, Moses was not allowed to enter Canaan, and was told to go die in mount Nebo. Deut 32:48-52. In this case Moses committed a sin unto death.

Deut 32:51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

I only see six times ( in the bible ) where Moses was angry. Over a life time I would say that is not enough times to say someone has anger issues. I think some of todays great commentaries are stretching it a little.

moses if i recall was doing alright in the desert, he seen a burning bush. an went back to Egypt to bring gods people out.
sometimes it seems all prophets do things willingly for god even if they dont wanna, Jonah didnt want to but god made him willingly do it. same with many others.
moses, noah, jonah, many have a right to be "touchy". if moses had a temper, he had every right. look at the commandments, he broke the first set, the people did wrong and even made a idol, the people were disobediant, and seemed worse than a 3 yro. they did wrong an whinned...

Wait a minute! Moses' anger was always against the bad things the people did, right? Was not against God? :crying

but there was disobedience somewhere: speak and not hit. To obey is better than to sacrifice. GOD is GOD
