Yeah, we do have some of the highest property taxes, if not the highest. But none of that money goes towards fuel distribution. We do have plenty of tolls but that usually goes into the transportation fund.

Jason, I heard something disturbing; I heard Florida is trying to pass a bill which would penalise anyone who didn't have a Sun pass. In other words, paying in cash would result in some sort of surcharge.

NJ is looking into something like this, which personally, I don't like. Many people feel the same.

But the whole Sun pass/EZ pass thing is a whole 'nother subject. Same with red light cameras. grrrrr........

Who would ride without a helmet?

I always wore a helmet, boots and gloves plus, when they became available, shoulder, spine, elbow, hip and knee protection (ancient hips too painful to ride now).

If I were to ride with any one of those missing, it would be the helmet. I don't mind risking death but I don't want to live with an avoidable injury from a trivial spill.

one doesnt have to use the turnpike or sr 528 for the most part. but i dont like that idea. red light cameras are dead in florida.
