Not everyone.Just because they attend a Church that makes them a Christian? If I sleep in a garage does that make me a car?I dunno. All you have to do is open up my profile, and you can read exactly what church I attend. I think that's a little better than a nebulous "Yes" or "No" box.
But clicking a little forum button, does? Not everyone.Just because they attend a Church that makes them a Christian? If I sleep in a garage does that make me a car?
truth be told and not to get into a debate on web forums fellowship and churches. i find its so easy to skip church and to post here. and yet im missing the real stuff and what i need. at times we cant go due to circumstances but this site isn't a church. one doesn't debate in a church setting. im glad i don't. i get to fleshly at times. i control a lot when i post. a lot. if i get really exicited it shows but that is controlled. i think too fast and can go to far . i don't want that in church. i don't need a puffing up of pride that i know the bible better then you.But clicking a little forum button, does?
That is what I said....I think That many who click that they are a Christian are not.But I can tell by what they post. But clicking a little forum button, does?
I think that is what TOG said.I sometimes feel it is an uphill battle, but I am trying to talk some sense here.
If this bothers you so much, do just what I did. Write a short sentence stating your beliefs right there in you forum. That;s a whole lot better than checking a silly little button.
you wouldn't have like hitch then. he would insulted you for being a pretribber to make a point. and yet he was whom he said he was. there are reasons i mention him a lot but his style was not the way i would do things. i have been really heated with him. man i wanted to choke him. he was carnal in his approach. if you didn't know him you wouldn't see that and why he was doing what he was doing and what drove him. bad experience in a futurist church. That is what I said....I think That many who click that they are a Christian are not.But I can tell by what they post.
I don't like the new look, it is different from the old look.
That is not going to break my heart.I have been insulted so many times on CF for being pretib I can't count it.you wouldn't have like hitch then. he would insulted you for being a pretribber to make a point. and yet he was whom he said he was. there are reasons i mention him a lot but his style was not the way i would do things. i have been really heated with him. man i wanted to choke him. he was carnal in his approach. if you didn't know him you wouldn't see that and why he was doing what he was doing and what drove him. bad experience in a futurist church.
How do you know he is real?He just likes his privacy is all..

How do you know he is real?
Way to complicated for that simple feature. People are certainly welcome to elaborate on their favorite way to profess or deny Christ in their profiles or signatures. There are also Christians who prefer not to use that label, because it's associated with something they'd rather not be associated with. I think it would be good if people could enter their own description, rather than just answer "yes" or "no" to being a Christian. Then people could write "Christian", "Believer", "Jesus follower" or whatever description they prefer. Non believers could enter "Atheist", "Agnostic", "Hindu" or whatever else describes them.

Could this be the real greghead? Will the real Greghead please stand up.
That would be interesting and revealing........ 35 posts...I'm sorry, but is there no forum rule about not derailing a thread? ...Because y'all are really hijacking this thread right now and sending it into another direction.
It's a simple yes or no question.
