Would that make me a Christian?

Right under our avatar there was a box that told the members if you were a Christian or not, now its missing.. Just wondering if their going to bring it back, most if not all Christian forums do that as procedure..

I should ask Jethro Bodine.I was thinking of attending the Church of the Enlightened Path.
Would that make me a Christian?
Hey turn or burn, I was just reading one of your threads from 8 years ago. Thanks for getting it fixed..

Thanks for adding the Christian Eora.I'm not sure why it's so hard to choose yes or no. Really, you're a Christian or not. But it will be considered.
As I said, there are many things which were reset when this changed over which will be fixed in time.
I don't know where is your heart?I was thinking of attending the Church of the Enlightened Path.
Would that make me a Christian?
Unlike questions such as location, from a moderator's point of view, the Christian yes or no answer is something we need to know as there are actually some rules that apply only to non-christians while others apply to Christians. It's spelled out in the ToS and in the individual descriptions of some forums. This would become unwieldy if we have to sort through all the possible answers to that question that people could think up, especially those who want to be non-committal or deceptive about it. You either are a Christian or you aren't, yes or no. If a person wants to editorialize about what that means to them, they are certainly welcome to do that in their signature or profile.I don't see how it's any more complicated than "Location". You can enter whatever you want in that field. It's exactly the same thing with a different label.

In my chest.I don't know where is your heart?
Willie T , Eora Rick WThere are also Christians who prefer not to use that label, because it's associated with something they'd rather not be associated with. I think it would be good if people could enter their own description, rather than just answer "yes" or "no" to being a Christian. Then people could write "Christian", "Believer", "Jesus follower" or whatever description they prefer. Non believers could enter "Atheist", "Agnostic", "Hindu" or whatever else describes them.
The TOG
Anyone can put their belief/faith description in their signature.

I didn't know you were around back then.
