I believe Adam and Eve both died in Christ along with many of their children because they endured His chastisement and obeyed His instruction.

God did cloth them but spiritual death, followed by physical death became a reality for all mankind.

Think about how you feel about your own children when they commit sin.

The Bible says God reproves, disciplines, corrects (call it what you want) sinners often before destruction falls on them.
