No need to say you're sorry, Veritas. I'm glad it works for you. But that is my problem. I can't see it on the level you are seeing it. I can't just assume that what I'm reading is personal. What may be "speaking to me" may not be God at all.
And when I say that I've "seen too much in the world", I'm not talking about "bad things". I'm talking about concepts and ideas and evidences that throw up a huge roadblock to any religious institution. It is why I prefer to see myself as spiritual, not religious. I have seen too many things that "expose parts of the bible" that actually make a lot of sense. I won't go into those things here. I've heard many people speak on them as to the "why it happened", but they fail to answer but only sugar coat them.
Anyway, I don't know what the answer is, but if I'm wrong, and God cares for me, God will see fit to cause these uncertainties to be answered. . . . . uncertainties that can't just be "faith-ed away".
