I'm getting geared up for it! Its Liberty University (Christian, awesome, online, and affordable). Any online learners have tips for me (and other online learners around, of course) ?

You'll need hell of a lot of discipline when sitting in front of a computer for learning. Many people struggle with all the distractions that the internet (or the computer itself) offers... you know, watching cute cat videos on youtube, refreshing facebook/ twitter/ cf.net, browser games, online news, and so on. It's so bad a friend of mine hasn't been able to finish his doctoral thesis for four years; he's stalled because whenever he encounters some trouble he'll get into avoidance mode, distracting himself on the internet for several weeks nonstop. I tend to be the same way, so I'm lucky I have an outdoor physical labour job right now with no computer around, but I'm scared what'll happen when I return to college.
So learning online sitting at a computer is risky if you tend to be easily distracted. Be prepared for major self discipline struggles.

That seems to be where most education is migrating to nowadays, which I don't think is a bad thing. If there are tests after each section I've found it best to take breaks after the tests. Trying to stay awake has been my nemesis.

Set for yourself a schedule. Go in order of the teaching and memorize on the way. Practice & Review as much as you can. The time you put into it will reflect on the outcome,.

hey angel...have you worked out your school situation? I don't mean to pry, I'm just curious.

Hello!

I am meeting with a Rehab specialist next month to see if I can work out going back to school. I went/and will continue going to an online school. I take one class at a time usually, but the specialist may have other requirements.I can't pay for it myself, and my FAFSA appeal was denied. They said it was because of paperwork, but honestly I think they were discriminating against my illness.

Thanks for asking!

don't lose your eyes. (look up ways to save your eyesight when using a computer daily....
don't ever get carpalsurgery. it almost never works, while the doctors using B-vitamins have great success.
(from repetitive keyboard use, pain from swelling is not relieved by surgery, but is relieved by nutrition. -do internet search).
pray constantly. (always, in all things, every day, all day, all night.... :) yes, it is 'acquired', God's Grace Accomplishes!) :)
