Oooookay I get it now... Muslims are BAD

Heidi said:
I'm afraid it is futile arguing with Muslims, Nicolai. They don't see the difference between believing a murderer and beliving a man who never sinned. Therefore, they can never understand deeper matters & will simply have to find out the truth when they die. But we have warned them. They are now accountable for their fate.

Hiya Heidi...I know, not all people will ever agree.... :crying: ..but it is good learning from each other...what other peoples religions entail..etc...

I actually believe and hope we also can show Muslims the truth of what Christians actually.. believe...instead of some of the misguided information Muslims have concerning, Christian belief

Did you know Muslims didn't realise....That Christians still had to repent to God for forgiveness...for their sins...else they would not be forgiven...

Muslims believe..... Christians think they now have a free pass into heaven...because they believe Jesus died for everyones sin...

Muslims repent for their sins also...the same as Christians do..and they don't realise they've done the same as Christians have done all along...

See how misguided information...causes misunderstandings..???? between religions..

And one and a half billion Muslims think Christians don't...repent to God for forgiveness of their sins.....

No wonder they think we have it wrong....I would like to know where they got this misunderstanding from...

Qasim said: but my question is why is that the Old Testament doesnt teach that Jesus will come to atone the sins of mankind, or why doesnt it teach that God can be found in three persons, the Father the son and the Holy Spirit. What the Old testament teaches is that the 'son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, niether shall the father bear the iniquity (sin) of the son, the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him, and the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him' (cant remember ref.) meaning each and every person bears his own responsibility, his own sin, that is the universal message of God. So now your telling me that God changes this and that we do not bear our own sin, but that Jesus bears our sin, which goes against the Old Testament.

But it does tell us clearly in the OT about Jesus' coming to bear our transgressions (sins)..iniquities...and that he would die...for them, though he was innocent and sinless...we are told it was Gods will..that Jesus would be lifted up and made most high, that he would sprinkle many nations....which Jesus as done......It tells us the Jews would not accept him....all this .from Isaish the head of all the prophets...8 thousand years..BC.

Isaiah

52:13 Behold, my servant shall prosper,
he shall be exalted and lifted up,
and shall be very high.

52:14 As many were astonished at him
his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance,
and his form beyond that of the sons of men

52:15 so shall he sprinkle many nations;
kings shall shut their mouths because of him;
for that which has not been told them they shall see,
and that which they have not heard they shall understand.

53:1 Who has believed our message?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

53:2 For he grew up before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;

he had no form or comeliness that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him.

53:3 He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

53:4 Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God,
and afflicted.

53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities;

upon him was the chastisement that made us whole,
and with his stripes we are healed.

53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth
;
like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is dumb,
so he opened not his mouth.

53:8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
and as for his generation, who considered
that he was cut off out of the land of the living
stricken for the transgression of my people?

53:9 And they made his grave with the wicked
and with a rich man in his death,
although he had done no violence,
and there was no deceit in his mouth.

53:10 Yet it was the will of the LORD to bruise him;
he has put him to grief;
when he makes himself an offering for sin,
he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days;
the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand;

53:11 he shall see the fruit of the travail of his soul and be satisfied;
by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,
make many to be accounted righteous;
and he shall bear their iniquities.

53:12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great,
and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;
because he poured out his soul to death,
and was numbered with the transgressors;
yet he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

Qasim said:Maybe God did want you to know about these things, but God gave you freewill to choose which path to go on.

Yes, God did want us all to know about Jesus' coming and that he would be sacrificed for...Us...If God did not want us to know he would not have given Isaiah his word.. God always tells us before he is going to do something...he always as done...Jesus died for our sins... because of Gods will...

Yes God as given us all freewill to choose which path we want to follow.....But some men prevent that happening. Those men will be judged by God.
