OSAS discussion without using scripture

Hey guys. I would like to try something new if you don't mind. Let's have a OSAS discussion without using scripture. Let's talk about who Jesus is and why he came and died, and if you would like to add anything else please feel free. To me Jesus is God in the flesh who died for all sins, past/present/future. When you believe in your heart that Jesus is God and your savior, the Father will send his holy spirit to indwell you until redemption.

Please do not post scripture in this thread, this is strictly for personal discussion only. Let's talk it out. Who is Jesus Christ to you. I think this can be a very educational thread if we are patient with each other and listen to each other, and we can finally learn something from each other. Blessings, DRS81. :)

I reckon that would be as relevant as your using wrong scripture out of context, assuming everything given John was a vision, and misapplying what Jesus' angel signified to John to metaphors. I'll start of by saying your stance against OSAS is totally false doctrine. Prove me wrong without scripture. WAIT! What is eternal, how about everlasting, God will never leave or forsake us, and though we no longer believe, Jesus continues faithful to us, will in no way cast us out, and not erase us from the book of life.

Can we also restrict our ideas to not use crazy pastes from some organization that attempts to sell the word of God, and uses copy-written translations to make even more money off God's people? :)

OSAS can not be found within the Word of God, therefore it is false.

Now what?
Maybe that's why God anointed or confounded the languages at Babel. He evidently give some of us words with meaning, and others the means of babbling. :lol

Ok, very good.
Now who is Jesus Christ to you.
What is the difference between relationship and fellowship with Jesus.
Do you think he only had to die once for his blood to be official,
or does he have to come back to earth and die again and again.
Let's ask each other questions, it's how we learn.

Now who is Jesus Christ to you................He's the door onto salvation.

What is the difference between relationship and fellowship with Jesus.........Relationship/Personal ....................................................................................................................................Fellowship/Social

DRS81 - Now who is Jesus Christ to you.
Eugene – God.

DRS81 - What is the difference between relationship and fellowship with Jesus.
Eugene – Standing & state.

DRS81 - Do you think he only had to die once for his blood to be official,
or does he have to come back to earth and die again and again.
Eugene – Once!

Eugene - My question. Are these trick questions?

a good soldier doesn't get entangled in the affairs of this world.
a good soldier = the rare one who is totally faithful to the Creator.

think of a recruit in the untied states military. one who is sworn in. what happens to him if, after he is sworn in, he goes awol to watch tv , sitting on a couch ? (or just to do whatever, go fishing, join a bicycling club, start a business or a farm.... )

I use to believe once saved always saved, but got a new insight to this. Jesus said that those who endure unto the end are those who will be saved. The end of what you might ask, the end of all the trials and tribulations we face daily in this word of evil wickedness that surrounds us and will wax worse and worse until Jesus returns and calls His Bride to meet Him in the air. Those whose faith in Christ is weak as they never allow it to mature or build upon it will be more inclined to curse God (blasphemy) from their heart and completely turn away from Him denouncing God in their lives when not trusting God in all things when they face the trials and tribulations of this world and actually blame God for their torments.

We endure by allowing ourselves to be humbled before the Father in all humility. Many come to the alter, but soon waver from it, but it is those who come to the alter of grace and are truly sealed by the Holy Spirit and remain in the will of God through obedience to His word by applying it to their lives knowing that even when we face the evil of this world God is right there with us as we run the race that is set before us.

When we first accept Christ as our Lord and Savior through pure repentance we are only at that time saved or delivered from our past sins as we begin our personal relationship with Jesus and true faith that is Christ will lead us into Gods righteousness as we have been Spiritually renewed and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

The only thing that can separate us from the love of God allowing us to lose our salvation in Him is blasphemy against His Holy Spirit if we renounce Him as Lord and Savior.

God doesn't remove his spirit from your body when you fall, no.
He convicts you of righteousness, teaches you, guides you and helps you.
Wouldn't you think that would be a pretty good God?
He would be kind of flimsy if he removed his spirit every time we made a mistake, right?
Didn't Jesus only have to die once? Hmmm.....

Did I say God removes His Spirit when we fall, no, as we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. Many fall at times. but grace we always pardon us when we ask for forgiveness.
Why would God convict us of righteousness as we are made righteous through Him. The Holy Spirit will convict us of wrongdoing as we are ever learning from Him teaching and guiding us.
Jesus only died once to live again in all of us that we may have life eternal with Him, but many crucify Him daily.

You must be working from a different set of questions because I said nothing that would even remotely resemble what your post infers.

My question again: What is OSAS and what are your beliefs regarding this doctrine?

Thanks.

Yhvh didn't share His Spirit with the people at the time of the flood - any way it's put, only Noah, his wife, and his 3 sons and their wives were saved.

Yeshua said plainly it would be just like in the days of Noah, in the end times. He often said how hard it is to find the Way of Life, how narrow the road is and how there are few who find it; and likewise how the road to destruction is wide and popular, and many go right on down that way ... ... ...

So, regardless if osas is correct or not, there's still few who find life. The offer from Yhvh is to everyone, but not many turn to Him.

My question again: What is OSAS and what are your beliefs regarding this doctrine?

You only have to believe once that Jesus is your savior. Once you believe, you are sealed and you cannot lose your salvation.

OSAS can not be found within scripture, and therefore is false!

Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses left every truth be established!

Now what?

Now I ask (you) a question. Questions back and forth.
When Jesus died on the cross,
did his blood wash away all sins or does he have to keep dying over and over.
Are we no longer convicted of sin but of righteousness?

You only have to believe once that Jesus is your savior. Once you believe, you are sealed and you cannot lose your salvation. Rom 10:9.

You have to continue to believe until the end, for those who believe for awhile then fall away, have become unbelievers, since they no longer believe. Genesis 1 - Revelation 22
