Our Old Man - Our Young Child.

Please , in your answer, remember that the Bible speaks of two "rains" The first has happened already. We call it Pentecost.

Joe 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first month.

Plus , please do not tell me its talking about real rain, because in Hosea, God tells you that its a "he" that shall come as the latter rain.

Before you attack something that is very Biblical, please look up the meaning of this verse among others.

2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

Can you see it does not say "came in the flesh" ? Can you see that it says "cometh"

Here is the KJV

2Jn 1:7 ForG3754 manyG4183 deceiversG4108 are enteredG1525 intoG1519 theG3588 world,G2889 who confessG3670 notG3361 that JesusG2424 ChristG5547 is comeG2064 inG1722 the flesh.G4561 ThisG3778 isG2076 a deceiverG4108 andG2532 an antichrist.G500

Now you have explain to me, why this word that is translated "cometh" and "is come" means. It is not past tense, in fact it is present continues. Meaning, its happening as we speak. Seeing that Jesus is not here in His flesh anymore: which flesh do you think He is presently coming in, at this very moment, according to John?

Here is that word in the Greek:

G2064
á¼â€ÃÂÇομαι
erchomai
er'-khom-ahee
Middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred [middle voice] word, á¼ÂλεÃÂθομαι eleuthomai or á¼â€ÃŽÂ»ÃŽÂ¸Ã‰ elthÃ…Â; which do not otherwise occur); to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively): - accompany, appear, bring, come enter, fall out, go, grow, X light, X next, pass, resort, be set.

I must also tell you , that this is suppose to be for all Christians and must not exclude anybody. You have to realize that Christ is indeed in you and as such, it is a reality. Not just by name, but its REAL. Jesus is living in YOU ! That Christ is now at this very moment "coming in your flesh", because according to Paul, you are dead and crucified and Christ now lives in you.

So we all have to decide if we think this is real or nonsense .Either Christ is in us, or He is not.

If you say He is, what is He doing in you? Are you changing or are you just living your old life as you lived before? Is He manifesting in you? or are you the same person you were, before He came to live in you.

If you are changing, then you are admitting He is in you and coming in you. You, like all of us, must grow up into the Head which is Christ. Some people are ahead of us, they are going to be the first fruits. But the good news is , that there will be other fruit that will also manifest after them. First fruits are just that :FIRST.

I have looked into those movements, the founders of those movements and the proponents of those movements. Their theology is rife with error and the character of several involved is questionable. I will have nothing to do with these groups or their teachings.

It split up my former pastor's church twice and he still refused to correct his theology. I can't even mention on this Christian forum some of the language he has used in dealing with those who disagree with him. Not to mention some of his conduct and other beliefs which he is now passing onto the youth of his church, or rather what's left of his church, teaching them how to justify it all with Scripture.

Correct belief leads to correct behaviour just as wrong belief to wrong behaviour.

I do know that "latter rain," "sons of God" and the "man child" are written of IN THE BIBLE, and therefore believe it should be studied.
Those things are mentioned in the Bible but have nothing to do with the erroneous doctrines that some of these movements teach. As I stated earlier, "man child", from what I have studied, is ever only used to mean "male child" and never means what it does in this erroneous Man-child doctrine. The same goes for the phrase "sons of God".

I'll leave it up to any reader and serious student of Scripture to search the Internet for information on these various groups.

I agree, so the minute I say something that is not in Scripture I will take correction .

But until then I would appreciate you not judging me , because other men got it wrong. When I do what they do, then I would be guilty, until then, I stand on my own and I always can back everything with Scripture. Not just ONE scripture, I have to see the Bible in agreement with something , not just one verse.

Its a mistake to judge Biblical truth by the way men handle it. If this was indeed the method we had to use, then it would also be wrong to believe Jesus is the Son of God, because these same men that offended you, also taught that Jesus is the Son of God. In the end, its us, that throw out truth, we cannot blame others.

You have to forgive that pastor, and get on with the reality which is the gospel. I am your brother and not against you. I have never once intended to offend you although it seems that you have indeed taken offense. If I offended you in some way, then I ask for your forgiveness. It was not my intention.

The gospel about Christ in you is real. Its also GOOD news. Do not allow men and their wrong , to rob you of your crown.

Blessings
your brother
Cornelius

you have contended so far that scriptures about the man child are only about a male child. please pray over this.

Isa 66:6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Isa 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Isa 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut [the womb]? saith thy God.

Isa 66:10 ¶ Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

Isa 66:11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

Isa 66:12 ¶ For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her] sides, and be dandled upon [her] knees.

This is speaking of zion bringing forth a manchild- then it calls this manchild a nation brought forth, and calls them her children. not just a male child. This is the same thing that Jesus is referring to in john.

Jhn 16:19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

Jhn 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

Jhn 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Jhn 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Rev 12:1 ¶ And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.

notice again the manchild is more than one as they will feed the woman in tthe wilderness just as in isaiah.
Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days.
