Gal 1:6 - being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
The phrase "He who began a good work in you" refers to God who saves the believer. The "good work" refers to our salvation. God is the author and finisher of our salvation, per Heb 12:2.
The phrase "will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" refers to the believer entering eternity with God.
Notice that it is God who does the saving and God who does the completion of His good work in the believer.
Those who believe that salvation can be lost are invited to exegete this verse and explain why it doesn't teach eternal security and what it really does teach.
