Pizza is about ready to ROLL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! I have almost $500 in mine.

You know, with dashcams getting more and more common, maybe the screwballs and irate drivers will "cool it", in fear that a judge may have a chance to WATCH them in the act.

(Whatever the 'act' is...)

Yeah there are many different types out there now. Of course most have to be ordered from overseas, but the GoPro is one of the few available on shelves here.

The opposite of having video evidence against other drivers is having evidence for one's own driving. So I'm also hoping it will help slow me down a bit and just relax a little more. :)

I think my videos prove very well - that theory doesn't work with me. :shame

It has been shown that police officers often forget they are being recorded. While in-car video is there to prove court cases, and to protect the officer from being accused of wrong-doing, it is also true that it has shown, many times, that the officer acted incorrectly or simply misbehaved.

But it's up to YOU to remember, if you do, then GOOD!

(I bought mine primarily to re-live my fun, to show friends what I"ve been up to - and to be able to PROVE, if there is an accident, that I was on MY side of the yellow line!)

This guy has only 65 more HP than I do.... but how do I get my car over there to run this?? :sad

I could take my car all the way to 152 mph (fast as it will go, they say) and it'sLEGAL!!! (This guy tops out at around 126, so we know I'd be lucky to see 115 or so, but still.....)
His speed is in KM/H, so 200 = 128 MPH.

I was playing around on Blood Mountain today... I learned something - Mustangs don't handle curves very well! :lol

I caught up with four of them, we ran together for about a mile - then when the curves came, suddenly they vanished in my rear view mirror. I had heard that Mustangs didn't like curves, but had NO idea how true that is.

I see the Mustang as a MUSCLE car (and a very impressive one, IMO) but I don't consider it a SPORTS car. Not any more!

I am an avid hiker, but have not been in the woods much since August. THAT is going to CHANGE! So, I was hiking the AT in north Georgia today - did four miles in what has to be the most beautiful part of Georgia. At one point, I am sure I could see 60 miles from the trail! Most of Georgia is at 800 to 1000 feet, I was up at 3800 when I passed a "gap" and saw forever to the south!

Anyway, after my walk, I saw a road that had a sign "Nature Area"...? Turned out, it was a little park built around a SMALL lake - good for fishing and nothing else, swimming and even canoes were prohibited.

Anyway, here is a video of the ride back to the main road - I am calling this the "Road to No Where", because there is NO traffic and the road goes, almost, no where. I knew there was no one around, since the nature area was almost deserted. So, I made it back to the main road (about 6 miles) in 8 minutes on my way out!

It gets fun to watch at about 2:40 into the stream.

I wish I could get my videos loaded in HD, working in it.

Anyway, this video (and I'm not sure why it came out so well) is about the best way I can show you the "Tail of the Dragon". The windshield mount is part of it, but also I lucked out and got behind only ONE slow vehicle (about four minutes in, a van doing 25-30) and even then, they pulled over right away!

Anyway, I wish you could see the original HD video, the place is SO pretty.

I actually forgot about this video, I made the run in early May and named it with a weird name and forgot how good it is.

(I'm posting stuff like this, and not getting into conversations here, 'cause life is kinda tough and I can't debate or argue right now - it's better if I just post nonsense like this, I'll start posting and talking with all of you when I feel up to it. Prayers appreciated, and I'll leave it at that for now.)

(Actually, the picture in my sigline was taken about 1/ hour later, on my way back thru as I chased four bikers ... THAT was a fun run, too!)

Ecc 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Thanks for making a light spot in my day!

Not much has changed, but I THINK things are about to change. I know this, the high tomorrow is 105F - I have no idea how I will spend the day, but I DO know I'll do it indoors!

It's even too hot for fun like this...

True Story:

The Crossfire has an Infinity Navigation and AM/FM/CD sound system. The nav is not worthless, but it is no Garmin. Anyway, I (and many others) set the Nav up for the British Female voice and when it talks to us, we DO feel like Bond!

James Bond! :lol

We tell new owners about this when they show up on the forum, it's really funny you made that remark, not knowing!

For those of you not on Facebook, I posted this yesterday:

Been thinking about something: If going fast is not fun, you aren't going fast enough.
