I made a Pandora radio station with Disciple, a few minutes later, they started playing Monster! Kewl!

Have you guys ever heard of Pillar? They're playing now and are a Christian group. Kinda like Skillet.
I think I've heard of them a bit here and there.

Here's some Pillar for you. "Fireproof"

Good stuff. :)

I wondered if it had anything to do with the movie Fireproof (awesome Christian movie), but after listening realized quickly it had nothing to do with the movie.

My favorites from that album are Release the Panic, Perfect Life, Die for You, and Glass House. :)

questdriven:

Yes, Release the Panic and Glass House are good in combination, aren't they?

Would you rate Red as good as Skillet and Disciple? I think some of what I've heard of Disciple is really excellent Christian hard rock: the best.

Blessings.

They each have their own styles, but I guess Skillet and Disciple are a little bit better quality than Red. It's hard to say, really. I am a bit burnt out on Red right now, after having listened to it so much for weeks at a time.

Edward:

YW; actually I think I like Disciple more; because the lyrics that I have heard are more overtly Biblical.

Blessings.

I know what you mean; I too have a tendency to listen to stuff over and over.

But maybe eventually you'll go back to Red, right?

Blessings.

I'll check them out

Speculative:

If you're favorably impressed with Skillet, anyway, Disciple may seem similar, too.

Blessings.

I listened to them a little on Sunday after church and I agree that they do sound similar. However, I think the female voice in Skillet really adds another dimension, musically, that I really like, so I still prefer Skillet. :)

Speculative:

I think you mean Korey someone? There's also Jen Ledger in Skillet, but she's a drummer, I think.

Blessings.

Hi questdriven:

If you happen to scroll up from recently, Disciple seems to be generating a bit of interest!

Blessings.

Casting Crowns rocks whether they are hard rock or not!

@JPTT1974: So are you into Christian hard rock as well?

(Casting Crowns would probably be described often as Christian soft rock.)

Christian hard rock would be more like Disciple, Skillet and Red.

Blessings.
