I will always have a problem with people using the term "Homosexual Lifestyle" because it doesn't mean anything. It's usually a code phrase for gay sex. However a lifestyle isn't just sex. Lifestyle implies way more. And that’s something we should all be able to do.
However, if the Pope is affirming a homosexual lifestyle, then he would be promoting sin.
The Pope isn't saying gay sex is Christian. He has said the opposite in the past.
No. The reason is that the Pope isn't telling people to go out and have sex. He is saying we need compassion. That's it.What is your thought on the matter? Do you believe he is promoting sinful behavior? Please explain.
The reasoning is because the Pope didn't say anything about the act of sex, but instead talked about the people who are same sex attracted. Those are 2 different things. JLB keeps bringing up how sex outside of sertain parameters is sinful. This is very common when talking about these issues. People have a hard time separating people from the act of sex when it comes to same sex attracted persons.I don’t see how JLB comment warranted that type of a response and that type of speak goes against the TOS.
I understand. My frustration is more about how we talk about this topic more than whether or not I'm attracted to men.Grace is not a free pass to continue in sinful behavior. Grace calls sin what it is, sin but it doesn’t do so for the purpose of condemnation. No, grace speaks truth, but does so in love. Grace says, I understand your struggles and I’m here to help guide you to a better way of life. Together, we will get there.
