If You're A Redneck Dinner,
My husband has been working away from home for the last 5 mths. During that time he was only home twice for couple of days. My grandson, JC and his mom live with us. My grandson really misses him when he's gone, he has to put up with just the women!

So last night, JC decided we should make dinner special by having a candle light dinner. Really??
So we did. He said grace and thanked the Lord for many things. Then he said, this is really cool, we were praying by candle light just like Daniel did and God was right here with us.
So then he asks his Poppy, What was the best part of your day? And we went around the table each one telling the best part of our day.
Nice peaceful, sharing dinner. It was lovely.

Then Poppy says to JC. Do ducks spend a lot of their time swimming on the water? He says, yes.
Poppy says, Well then, do you think ducks fart underwater?
Did I say peaceful? Now JC is laughing so hard he almost falls off the bench! The whole conversation between them is back and forth is about where ducks toot.

Got two bags of leaves raked up. Maybe 5-6 more before the backyard is done. In all reality, you can't get every single leaf raked up.
 
The best thing I am thankful for and feel positive about is having people like you guys who can put up with a bit thread like me. Thanks for accepting me for who I am. You are all the best.

It's so comforting to know that the God of the universe and everything in it is FAITHFUL to those who call on His name. :)
 
I get positive from food I guess, but OMG. My wifes grandpa made homemade banana pudding, and I have never tasted pudding so super amazingly good ever. He said the trick is to stir for hours. Not from a mix, but like actual ingredients. I didn't even know that was possible. It makes a huge difference. I mean like didn't even taste like any banana pudding I have had before, and the texture was different too. I must have it again, but I have to be moderate. YUMMY.

Awesome. Real pudding is totally different than the box kind. Tonight was my first time ever eating real pudding.
 
You guys remind me of Horchata. My husband loves horchata!

Today I have been hallucinating a lot. So I am thankful for even just my husbands presence! It calms me down just to have him around. :)
 
You remind me of this Scripture by Job:
