My parents have moved downstairs to watch the game...with *me* ! I feel like such a kid, lol. Seriously, though: this is major progress. They're usually holed up in their upstairs den, watching TV and having drinks. The very fact that they're downstairs and they want to spend time with me (and eat with me...and its some kinda tasty nachos w/ beef and guacamole deal...) is huge. I get the sense that The Lord is answering my prayers and getting them to see that I'm not the same person, and I genuinely want to spend time with them. When I first moved home, there was definite tension. My mom even accussed me of just trying to use them, which now I can understand (they are "comfortable," after all), but at the time I found incredibly offensive. Anyway...

...yeah, the game. Downstairs. With me. And...good food. Good times! Praise God! :-)
