That's awesome!!! Well I'll keep praying. May Jesus Christ bless you!!!Thank you, Eboni. I ended up having the procedure and the doctors are reasonably sure my meds will keep the condiiton from returning. Should it return, there are other things they can do for me.
But my condition was likely brought on by stress and worry - and I have changed since then and don't feel such stress anymore. God has led and taught me thru all of this.
Yea, I was going to talk with my boss about taking my car on some of these trips - I'm thinking against that now.I cant stop thinking about how good it was you were not in your car.... Thank you Lord for all you have done, for Pizza...
I would wait to discuss the matter with your adjuster. Your explanation just might take any potential fangs out of the situation.
Something you might consider doing, but only if after prayer you are led to do so: every so often, buy a gift card to a restaurant or grocery store or gas card and send it to the guy who hit you. (You can send it anonymously, if you wish ... just enclose a brief note that says "God bless you!") He was your guardian angel at the moment you needed assistance. Or.... you could send a gift card for a pizza place, etc, to the business, with a note saying "Enjoying a meal is only for the living ... and I'm thankful to be alive...enjoy lunch" or something of your preference. In the overall scheme of life, it's not much, but at least it is something.
Here is what I did last Monday (the 7th): I bought a $100 gift Visa gift card and mailed it to his home with a note that said, "You deserve a good meal at a top notch restaurant, use this to buy yourself one." He will know who sent it, because I mailed it from my hometown. I sent it registered, certified, so once I get home, I'll know who signed for it. I took this precaution mainly because the gift was inside, and I wanted it to be traceable.
I've been away from home since the 7th. I will wrap up this project tomorrow and head home Wednesday - probaby won't travel again till the last monday July.
I'm moving this weekend... to a new place that will cost me 1/2 what the condo does.
Amen Brother Pizza for you and your friend.Ok, things are pretty good with me. I go in front of a judge Wednesday the 3rd (his/her standard is for all accident-causers to appear in court.) So, I'm asking for prayer that this won't go TOO badly for me AND that I don't worry my heart back into atrial fibrillation.
But I have something else for you prayerful types to pray on - I have this co-worker, let's call him "Kurt" (cause that is his name ). Well, Kurt needs the Lord, but he does not THINK he does.
He is miserable, his marriage (of about 10 years) is not good at all, but he as an awesome dad to his 9 year old son. Seriously, he's a great dad to little Eric!
Well, I have made up my mind I'm going to pray for him every night from now on. But I'd like some help here - he is a good person, but he's totally without the Lord in his life.
He is one who I'm tempted to think that the Lord Himself cant even reach - let's put that to the test! Kurt is spending his days unhappy and kinda lost - well, he IS lost. Let's see if that can change!
Thanks, all.
PS - Been on the road for weeks now, I"m gonna be home and working around the office next week, and maybe for 2 or 3 more weeks, maybe I can stop in here more often for a time! ;)
