I get from what you write that tribulation, great tribulations, and wrath.
Are all deferent periods of time.
Would you please show me how they are divided, and how they fit into the book of Rev.
Sure Darrell. I had expressed this many times before, but always within the confines of a post with other info in it, so it doesn't always stick out.
I see the Great Tribulation as an undefined period of time (within the 70th.week and about midway) when believers in Christ and those who refuse the Mark will perish at the 'hands" of Antichrist and his followers. I don't see this as having anything to do with God's Wrath. He will not take His people out in such a way. He may allow it to happen, as He allowed persecution throughout the ages, but it is not by His hand.
1 Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
I see this Great Tribulation starting at the fourth seal (Revelation 6:7)
I see the Wrath of God as The Day of the Lord. It is announced in Revelation 6:17 I believe the sixth seal is where the harpazo takes place (Revelation 7:9-14) and the sealing of the 144,000. I see the sixth seal as showing us the signs of the coming wrath. (revelation 6:12)
Though antichrist will be in power the second half of the 70th. week, his power is severely limited once God's Wrath starts. According to the way I understand scripture, the persecution ceases once the Day of the Lord kicks in. I believe all the trumpets and bowls are part of the Wrath and are in sucession.
I see most of the first half of the 70th. week to be a period of false peace, culminating into what I believe to be the period of Great Tribulation, followed by God's wrath upon those who are left in disbelief.
1 Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
