Present times

Seeing we are already in end times,i thought j would make a few predictions based on my undetstanding of biblical prophecy .

1-Trump will greatly increase military spending.
2-Trumpshall give money to wounded soldiers ad the families of fallen soldiers.
3-About midway through Trumps reign,a millitary comprised of gentiles shall occupy Jerusaelm.
4-The israeli conscription shall end.
5-Israelis shall all be given microchip implants to be used for buying and selling.
6-A drought lasting 42 months shall plague the middle east.
7-Trump will move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
8-Three and a half years after the conscription ends, ten musimscoutries attack and capture Jerusalem.2 million strong will sweep through Israel.
9-Trump responds with nukes destroying most of the middle esst and north africa.
10-The saints in israel, who died for thier testiony, will be resurrected and shall reign with Christ over the nations.

This is my understanding.
How about yours?

We've been in end times from the day we were born as the clock counts down every second of our life here on earth. Only fools make predictions on assumptions by collective reasoning without solid facts.

And congress voted law ''I think 92-3 20 yrs ago and unanimous 2 or 3 yrs ago to recognize Jerusalem .. but Trump gets the flack
I've known about the embassy moving to Jerusalem during this administration about 20 years ago.I learned it during the second war with Iraq.

1-Trump will greatly increase military spending.
He already said he wanted CONGRESS to do that. Trump cannot do it because only congress has the authority to determine what gets spent where and how much.
His own money?
Otherwise, again, congress has to do that.
Trump will move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
That's not a prediction. It's already a done deal.
This is my understanding.
"Understanding"?????

Which administration ?
This one.
There's alot of things in the bible.
Alot of good reading.
Its like this. The predictions I made In this thread are based on my understanding of biblical prophey. I didn't just make a bunchof stuff up.
Lets see what happens.

You never answered Jim Parker .. And Jesus said Satan does not cast out Satan so how do you rationalize all the worldly system and ungodly folks being against Trump, ''born again Christians'' and Israel ? God sees each one's faith but man sees and judges others works according to his own understanding with or without .. And the last 3 or 4 presidents also pledged to recognize Jerusalem as Israels capital but lied .. I thought you had something but now I think you're blowing smoke and a typical Trump hater ..

Hi Oz, I think if we're not then we're on the very brink .. IMO Once the US goes UN and loses our sovereignty , which we come dangerously close last election , the final countdown begins .. The final frontier I spoke of will be over ..

bru,

Do you realise how bad it was to live under the reigns of emperors such as Julius Caesar, Caligula, Claudius, Nero, Domitian, Trajan, etc. What about living under Hitler & the Nazis, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Idi Amin? Would you like to be living in Syria right now? What is life like for nations and provinces terrorised by Boko Haram and ISIS?

Could there be some presumptions here that influence Your conclusion that we are in the end times / last days?

What did Jesus say about the end times? I'll stick with what He stated in Matt 24 (this is not the only passage but it summarises some essentials):

24 Jesus left the temple. He was walking away when his disciples came up to him. They wanted to call his attention to the temple buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” Jesus asked. “What I’m about to tell you is true. Not one stone here will be left on top of another. Every stone will be thrown down.”
3 Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives. There the disciples came to him in private. “Tell us,” they said. “When will this happen? And what will be the sign of your coming? What will be the sign of the end?”
4 Jesus answered, “Keep watch! Be careful that no one fools you. 5 Many will come in my name. They will claim, ‘I am the Messiah!’ They will fool many people. 6 You will hear about wars. You will also hear people talking about future wars. Don’t be alarmed. Those things must happen. But the end still isn’t here. 7 Nation will fight against nation. Kingdom will fight against kingdom. People will go hungry. There will be earthquakes in many places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “Then people will hand you over to be treated badly and killed. All nations will hate you because of me. 10 At that time, many will turn away from their faith. They will hate each other. They will hand each other over to their enemies. 11 Many false prophets will appear. They will fool many people. 12 Because evil will grow, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who remains strong in the faith will be saved. 14 This good news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world. It will be a witness to all nations. Then the end will come.
15 “The prophet Daniel spoke about ‘the hated thing that destroys.’ (Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) Someday you will see it standing in the holy place. The reader should understand this. 16 Then those who are in Judea should escape to the mountains. 17 No one on the housetop should go down into the house to take anything out. 18 No one in the field should go back to get their coat. 19 How awful it will be in those days for pregnant women! How awful for nursing mothers! 20 Pray that you will not have to escape in winter or on the Sabbath day. 21 There will be terrible suffering in those days. It will be worse than any other from the beginning of the world until now. And there will never be anything like it again.
22 “If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened. 23 At that time someone may say to you, ‘Look! Here is the Messiah!’ Or, ‘There he is!’ Do not believe it. 24 False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will do great signs and miracles. They will try to fool God’s chosen people if possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘He is a long way out in the desert,’ do not go out there. Or if anyone says, ‘He is deep inside the house,’ do not believe it. 27 Lightning that comes from the east can be seen in the west. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes. 28 The vultures will gather wherever there is a dead body.
29 “Right after the terrible suffering of those days,
“ ‘The sun will be darkened.
The moon will not shine.
The stars will fall from the sky.
The heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ (Isaiah 13:10; 34:4)
30 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven. At that time, all the peoples of the earth will mourn. They will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven. He will come with power and great glory. 31 He will send his angels with a loud trumpet call. They will gather his chosen people from all four directions. They will bring them from one end of the heavens to the other.
32 “Learn a lesson from the fig tree. As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 In the same way, when you see all these things happening, you know that the end is near. It is right at the door. 34 What I’m about to tell you is true. The people living now will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away. But my words will never pass away.
The Day and Hour Are Not Known
36 “But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows. 37 Remember how it was in the days of Noah. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes. 38 In the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking. They were getting married. They were giving their daughters to be married. They did all those things right up to the day Noah entered the ark. 39 They knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes. 40 Two men will be in the field. One will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill. One will be taken and the other left.
42 “So keep watch. You do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 You must understand something. Suppose the owner of the house knew what time of night the robber was coming. Then he would have kept watch. He would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready. The Son of Man will come at an hour when you don’t expect him.
45 “Suppose a master puts one of his slaves in charge of the other slaves in his house. The slave’s job is to give them their food at the right time. The master wants a faithful and wise slave for this. 46 It will be good for the slave if the master finds him doing his job when the master returns. 47 What I’m about to tell you is true. The master will put that slave in charge of everything he owns. 48 But suppose that slave is evil. Suppose he says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time.’ 49 Suppose he begins to beat the other slaves. And suppose he eats and drinks with those who drink too much. 50 The master of that slave will come back on a day the slave doesn’t expect him. He will return at an hour the slave does not know. 51 Then the master will cut him to pieces. He will send him to the place where pretenders go. There people will weep and grind their teeth (Matt 24:1-51 NIRV, emphasis added).

That's so penetrating for me that I dare not predict when the last days are or when we are near to Christ's second coming. 'No one knows about that day or hour'.

Awesome post Oz , No I can't imagine the things and sufferings folks have suffered and endured and I get your point .. Matthew 24:21-22 , which you included says it will be worse than any other times in history, who can imagine that .. But it is a warning from Jesus himself that these things are coming and to be prepared . Not prepared to survive physical death but spiritually prepared to receive Gods grace through it to death if need be and salvation now .. No, you're correct we can't predict but you presented a great post saying it is predicted and will come to pass but when all prophesy is completed and God's numbers are completed , not one of his sheep will be lost .. I admit I watch for signs of the times but also acknowledge Gods hand keeps us every day .. When the mark comes, I will not willingly take it .. I'm certainly not obsessed with the End times is why I don't know any more about it than I do or study on it .. My immediate cause is to give my smallest grand daughter the most love and attention including all the kids Jesus songs/stories and Christ like training my wife and I can with the most Christ like atmosphere when we are honored to keep her .. She's just beginning to try to talk .. Like my kids and all my grand children I hope when My wife and I are gone they can draw on a time when they remember us and Jesus in our home ..

I've been told you can't put a date on anything.Tell me this.Is it possible to put a date on the day the abomination that causes desolation Is placed according to scripture?

I've been told you can't put a date on anything.Tell me this.Is it possible to put a date on the day the abomination that causes desolation. Is placed according to scripture?
I think Scripture already told at least, the year that happened.... and other historians have listed the date more closely.

Matthew 24:5-8 are the beginning of sorrows that started centuries ago and have escalated throughout the years, but the end is not yet. Vs. 9-13 even in our lifetime these things are happening as they always have and yet again on a greater scale. Vs. 14 the end is not here yet as the gospel has not been preached everywhere as of yet. Vs. 15 the abomination is in the process, but not yet has it reached fruition. Vs. 16-21 we are to flee the abomination that Daniel spoke of and it will be hard times for those of faith as much tribulation will befall them who are still alive at this time.

Vs. 22-28 I believe is the future coming of the beast and the son of perdition that will reign for a short period of 3 1/2 years (the abomination Daniel spoke of). This is the time to look up as our redemption is near. Vs. 29-31 Immediately after all these tribulations then the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Nope! Not on my calendar. :sohappy
http://biblehub.com/daniel/12-11.htm

There's an exact amout of days from one event to another. So your saying someone can't count the days from one date to another.
There are some people who can count. And there are some people who pay enough attention to God to know when certain things happen. Not everyone pays attention to God.But those who do will uderstand alot more than those who dont.
So years before the abomination of desolation is set up,many people will know the exact date. Not everyone. But those who have been watchful will.

I think Scripture already told at least, the year that happened.... and other historians have listed the date more closely.
The apostles asked Jesus to tell them about the time of the end and of his coming. The abomination that causes desolation is one of the events Jesus said would happen during the time of the end just before he comes. This is the verse in which the disciples asked him.
http://biblehub.com/matthew/24-3.htm
And this is the verse Jesus spoke of the abomination.http://biblehub.com/matthew/24-15.htm
The verse just before this ,Jesus said then the end will come.
http://biblehub.com/matthew/24-15.htm

If that prophecy had been fulfilled long ago then you must admit the time of the end was long ago and you should be able to tell me the date of the end.
You can't do tat because that prophecy has never been fufiled.

Now if you still insist that the abomination that causes desolation was set up ,
Can,you give us to name of the man who witnessed this event?

So lets take a close look at the man you decided wouldbea good teacher of the prophecies.
Joezephus was a pharisee like those who Jesus called blind guides. He taught Judaism and never converted to Christ. He remained a blind leader of the blind his entire life.
And you honestly believe this mans words over Jesus?

Do you believe the Greek and Roman and thousands of various other historians from a hundred different countries? They weren't Christians, and Jesus didn't record their history for you to read. You have to make better sense than you are now attempting. You do know, don't you, that Jesus spoke less than 7,000 words in the entire Bible. (about what the average man speaks in one day)

If all you are going to ever believe is what you know Jesus said, then you are going to lead a very limited life. You wouldn't even know how to operate that computer of yours.

Jesus said the abomination of desolation would take place at the time of the end.If you want to believe the time of the end was in 70 ad and jesuscame andresurrected the dead as he said he would ,you go aheadand believe it.
Personally I dont think so.
I wilcontinue to watch the rest ofthe chapter till it takes place if I live log enough to see it.

What did Jesus say to do when they saw the Abomination? Really. Go read it, and tells us what He told His listeners to do?
Then, actually think about that for a few minutes......... and then ask yourself "Why?" He would say to do that if the world was actually ending.
