Present times

Ditto, using the web can be a useful tool or it can make a fool of us. I began my upteenth read through on 1/1 off this year and would give a lot if people would study it in that manor and just meditate on it and allow the Holy Spirit they claim to have teach them. And loose the better than thou attitude and realize this forum is filled with us old fossils full of years of study in our sixties and seventies and one or two older than that. But youngsters that recently discovered YHWH think they know it all.

The Bible did not come with websites and study tools. It came by the very Spirit of God whom through His Holy Spirit will teach us all things and bring those things back to our remembrance, John 14:26, if we would just read it word for word, verse by verse and chapter by chapter in order to get the full context.

I haven't attended any church for at least twelve years since the last one unfortunately had to close and being disabled I have all the time in the world to read and study my Bible as I compare OT with NT through the Holy Spirit that guides me into all truth. Apart from the Holy Spirit man can teach us nothing, 1 John 2:27. When using websites we have to Spiritually discern that of what they are teaching and take the scriptures given and study them for our self asking the Holy Spirit to reveal truth. Everyone says the Holy Spirit taught them what they know to be truth, but there is a big problem with that as in all the disagreements that take place. It's within others that disagree with me that I double check myself in what I have learned to see if I might have missed something and sometimes I do as some have showed me where I missed something within my studying as even you have at times and I thank you for that. We are human and make mistakes and praise the Lord He will always send us someone to correct our self.

Seeing this thread has gotten off topic. This thread isn't about Gog or even that time period.I willmake another thread concerning Gog if none else will.

Another thread will not help your case if you are not giving us anything other than one verse out of biblehub. You refuse to answer our questions and sidetrack them with more biblehub verses. We have time and time again asked you who teaches you these things, but you refuse to answer just as you refuse to reveal the name of the sone of perdition you claim to know, but won't tell us. Is it all made up in your head or do you actually follow any particular teachings? I don't think you do as you would give us the source so we can go look it up.

As I stated. This thread is not about Gog nor is it even about the same time period as stated in scripture. If you wish to talk about Gog,can you make a thread about Gog insted of highjacking this one?

Actually, it appears that you are the one who introduced Gog in your post #123 where you said: "Ezekiel,37-38 are about Gog invading the land of Israel 1000 years after armegedon .Havnt you read revelation 20?You can read about it here."

And there you go again evading what we have asked of you and go into some other thing about Gog, which as Jim brought it up you hijacked your own thread in post #123.

YHWH will destroy His City and nobody else. Read Ezekiel, I recall, 37,38 & 39. It will not be destroyed before our Christ, Jesus, rules fro there fr a thousand years, after the Great Tribulation, a.k.a. The Day of The LORD.
Looks like I,the only one here besides youwho knew ezekiel ,38,39 were aboutGog.But the prostitute Jerusalem is destroyed long before .
Why would Jesus want to dwell in the midst of what the prophets called a harlot?

It is waste in 35.Long before 38,39..

Jerusalem is not the harlot, but is controlled by the harlot since 537 B.C. as they fell into idolatry worshipping other gods as they allowed themselves to fall from Gods grace as they followed the lust of their own hearts as they practiced Judaism, 1Kings 9:1-9. God is still waiting for them to repent and turn back to Him as many have already.

Great Harlot is described:
Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Great Harlot is destroyed:
Rev 17:
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
