Ditto, using the web can be a useful tool or it can make a fool of us. I began my upteenth read through on 1/1 off this year and would give a lot if people would study it in that manor and just meditate on it and allow the Holy Spirit they claim to have teach them. And loose the better than thou attitude and realize this forum is filled with us old fossils full of years of study in our sixties and seventies and one or two older than that. But youngsters that recently discovered YHWH think they know it all.
The Bible did not come with websites and study tools. It came by the very Spirit of God whom through His Holy Spirit will teach us all things and bring those things back to our remembrance, John 14:26, if we would just read it word for word, verse by verse and chapter by chapter in order to get the full context.
I haven't attended any church for at least twelve years since the last one unfortunately had to close and being disabled I have all the time in the world to read and study my Bible as I compare OT with NT through the Holy Spirit that guides me into all truth. Apart from the Holy Spirit man can teach us nothing, 1 John 2:27. When using websites we have to Spiritually discern that of what they are teaching and take the scriptures given and study them for our self asking the Holy Spirit to reveal truth. Everyone says the Holy Spirit taught them what they know to be truth, but there is a big problem with that as in all the disagreements that take place. It's within others that disagree with me that I double check myself in what I have learned to see if I might have missed something and sometimes I do as some have showed me where I missed something within my studying as even you have at times and I thank you for that. We are human and make mistakes and praise the Lord He will always send us someone to correct our self.
