I considered not even replying to your post, as it is insulting.

Of course I believe that Jesus was (actually is) God.

Again, and for the last time: Jesus had brothers! That is what the Bible says. I am not interested in your version of the situation! You can believe whatever myths you want about Mary; your opinions are irrelevant!

I believe the Bible! 100% It is the word of God! Sola Scriptura!!!

I am not interested in your version of the situation! You can believe whatever myths you want about Mary; your opinions are irrelevant!

Jesus is alive in heaven; He is not on the cross. Mary is not "ever virgin" and is dead.

I'm already aware of your personal and fallible opinions on the matter.

I have no interest in trading insults with you. If you can't discuss the subject matter why are you wasting our time? Is that what your priest is telling you to do?

I just go on scriptual fact. The scripture clearly says Jesus had brothers and there is also other words the author could have used if they were referring to Jesus relatives. So I have no choice but to believe Jesus had brothers.

I cannot see any evidence against it and there is no way to prove it wrong. Those who believe Mary was ever virgin will try change it because it would mean Mary was not ever virgin. You can't make the word "brother" suddenly become "cousin", especially if there are words for family relatives.

Read post #219 - it's only a few posts back.

I'm beginning to wonder how many times you two are going to continue to repeat that the other is only spouting his opinion. :whirl

Or go by jaybo's personal and fallible opinion of what the Bible means.
Who are you to judge whether my understanding of the Bible is accurate or not? Unlike yourself, I believe what the Bible says. I don't need a priest to tell me what it means. Sola scriptura.

And yet you still haven't provided any scripture to support that assertion.
I don't have to provide any Scripture to prove that it is the word of God. It has been accepted as God's word for thousands of years by many different faiths. Can you provide any Scripture that says that it isn't?

Really.... So which bible is Sola scriptura???

Which one of these Bibles contain Sola scriptura

1. KJV Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

2. ASV Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.

3. NIV Isa 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things.

4. ESV Isa 45:7 I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the LORD, who does all these things.

5. NASB Isa 45:7 The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these.

So which Bible reads as Sola scriptura.... The one that reads Evil? perhaps disaster? or may be calamity??? They all have very very different meanings!!!

KJV Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

ASV Gal 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

NIV Gal 2:16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.

ESV Gal 2:16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

CLV Gal 2:16 having perceived that a man is not being justified by works of law, except alone through the faith of Christ Jesus, we also believe in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by the faith of Christ and not by works of law, seeing that by works of law shall no flesh at all be justified."

So again which Bible reads as Sola Scriptura.... The one that reads Faith in Jesus? or the ones that reads Faith of Jesus???

My friend... You don't have the word of God... much less "Sola scriptura" !!! You have a simple translation of the Word of God... translated by bias men!!! My Greek text... without the translation of men reads... "Faith of Jesus" .... NOT "Faith in Jesus."

Sola scriptura.... If you only knew... LOL
Paul

I haven't said that it isn't. The question has do be with it being the only word of God.
What other book, document, scroll, etc. is considered to be the word of God? The canon of scripture has been decided for a very, very long time.
