So is Stryper one of the bands that you like?
Blessings.

That's what it means! (<3). I never knew that and have wondered. about it.
I never heard Stryper before. I remember hearing of them but Never listened to them.
Edward, Well, I guess Stryper are an acquired taste...
I'll listen to them later and see. I had a rocker friend over last night and I put on some Disciple for background music and after a few he says, whoa, who is that? That's good...:yes:D
A good opening for the Biblical lyrics, right?
Sure is. He was very interested and we listened to more and spoke on many things about God. :D
Blessings to you and yours too!
This is the same guy that told me that ever since he watched "The Bible" that the Holy Spirit has been calling to him in a big way. So I had a real good witnessing opportunity.![]()
Edward:
Keep praying for him!
I will brother. This guy would make a good servant for the Lord. Whatever he does, he applies himself very much too. He's that type of fellow. The Lord is willing. A bigger harvest and even more praise and glory for Him than if the man didn't get saved.
I love me some Disciple.
And yes, I would listen to Stryper back in the day. I figure they're about the same age as Rush and Journey and such, who are in fact still touring. I'll be interested to see how Stryper's new record deal pans out ...
Yup. I'm also eagerly waiting the release date of Skillet's new album "Rise". I also just acquired an album by Building 429 and Kerrie Roberts ... so I don't just listen to metal. ;)
Well, keep praying. Of course, what any of us are in Christ is all of grace, but if he already shows interest, then it may be that the Spirit of the Lord is working in Him. Blessings.
The Spirit is working in him. I can tell by how he talks. He doesn't sound like he used to! He came to me with some questions after watching the Bible (I've been praying for him too). He listened intently. Now he's back home to chew on it and the Holy Spirit is doing His work. I'm being patient and giving Him time to work. He'll be back soon with more questions.Praise the Lord.
I listened to a several Stryper songs yesterday, and they're ok. I lean a little bit more to Disciples & Skillets style though.
Edward: Well, exactly; as someone considers the Word, we pray that the Spirit will work in him or her, right.
Ty farouk. I am learning patience very much recently. The Lord works in His own time, in His own way. Everything doesn't happen overnight. It's an ongoing process to learn these things and be renewed. Our duty is to have endurance, patience and to keep the faith until the end. Now I am seeing that many people rush God and put expectations on Him. Faith and expectations are similar, yet distinctly different. We must be careful to not slip into arrogant expectations, however sweetly we package them to disguise them to not seem so. I hope that makes sense.
