Scripture is not very clear about different levels of rewards or punishment so I really think we can only speculate that there might be by trying to understand scripture. Even in these scriptures I am posting some of the rewards are while we are here on this Earth and others like being rulers over nations I would presume is when the New Earth and New Jerusalem is ushered down. Will they have various nations to rule over from the New Jerusalem as scriptures says we sit at Christ throne judging nations, but why would we judge nations on the New Earth as Satan is no longer in the scene and everyone who will be there have already received incoruptible bodies and immortality. The same with the lake of fire. Is there truly different levels for those who were nice people, but rejected Jesus compared to those who were just flat out evil from their heart. Same with the New Earth and New Jerusalem as some just barely made it there in the nick of time and then you have those who have been faithful with much.

Taking all the other scriptures that were given in Matthew 23:13-36 about all the woe's to you this could show that there may be different levels of punishement in the lake of fire. After searching many scriptures on this topic I truly can not come to any absolute conclusion other than there may be the possibility of different levels in the New Jerusalem and the lake of fire. I think it would be safe to say we have to draw our own conclusions on this since scripture is not real clear on this, but that we do know the New Jerusalem and the lake of fire are both very real.

Five crowns we receive: Life, Glory, Rejoicing, Righteousness, Incorruptible.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Rev. 2:26 He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron.
This goes along with one of the parables in Luke 19:17 where the master rewards the servant who was a faithful steward of his money; he says, "because you were faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities."

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
(The white stone and hidden manna here means the Spirits witness while on earth.)

1 Corinthians 3:
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Matthew 5:
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Rev. 20:6 They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

1 Cor. 6:2: "Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?"

Rev. 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Aha you've been paying attention, lol.

All except for I always believed that it will be during the Millenium that, the meek inherit the earth and become rulers of nations.

In the New Jerusalem there will be one nation. Ruled by God alone. So none of us should be rulers of nations there I would think.

We will be here for 1000 years on this earth in the Millenium. Who's going to fill all those Job Vacancies for worldwide government after God crushes the elitest global government guys worldwide? I expect we will have to work throughout the Millenium, we've always had to work. Myself, I don't feel qualified to be the Mayor of a city, lol. But I really don't know yet, if the Lord tells me I am then I'll just ask what time should I be there?

But yeah, I think the Millenium makes more sense than in the New Jerusalem. One Nation in New Jerusalem! No "rulers" plural there! Does that make sense to you?

but why would we judge nations on the New Earth as Satan is no longer in the scene and everyone who will be there have already received incoruptible bodies and immortality.

And we get those new bodies before the Millenium at the rapture. Take note that there will still be unsaved souls on earth during the Millenium. The babies who were before the age of accountability will grow up during the Millenium.

So there will be two kinds of citizens on earth during the Millenium. Those Beievers who have been transformed, and those on earth who have not believed yet, or been able to.

But durng the Millenium babies will be born, people will die, though 100 years old will be called young again. Only the cursed shall die young during the Millenium.

Towards the end of the Millenium Satan gets loosed to test the fence sitters of mortal man.

I wonder if we will glow after our Transformation?
Criinals in court would be like, the Judge is glowing brother better not lie to him!

We do not enter the Millennial Kingdom here on earth in our natural bodies, but in new glorified bodies, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54. When Christ returns in the air on the last day we are then caught up to meet Him in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord as He has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth as we rule with Him over the nations as His enemies have become His footstool in the end of days, John 5:28, 29; 6:40; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Rev 5:10; Psalms 110:1-4; Hebrews 10:12, 13.

Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 19:11-21 Jesus descends down from heaven with His army of the host (angels) of heaven as while remaining in the air He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather His own to Him. He will destroy the beast and false prophet casting them alive into the lake of fire, Rev 19:15, 16. The remnant in Rev 19:21 are the world leaders of every nation on the earth that have followed after the beast that rules their government. The remnant will be slain by the very words Jesus speaks of their damnation as the fowls will be filled with their flesh and at that time Satan will be chained and bound so he can not interfere with the ungodly people that are still alive on earth that become the footstool of Christ. Then the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ and He shall reign for ever and the saints will begin to rule over the nations here on earth, Rev 11:15; 5:10; 20:1-3; Matthew 5:5.

I see everything from the 7th trumpet on to come very quickly after the 3 1/2 year reign of the son of perdition as IMO the 1000 years are only symbolic like that of Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.

IMO the 1000 years are only symbolic l

So the Millenium is only a metaphor now? Symbolic of what? They have a lot to say about the Millenium in scripture.

I think what's going on here is Metaphors reign where mysteries reside. When we don't really understand something, we hide behind idioms and comfortable pictures to mask our ignorance.

They wrote way too much about the Millenium for it to only symbolic. Did you want me to post those scriptures?

Edward as I said IMO the 1000 years are only symbolic like that of Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.

I have always asked this question about what we are to do for a 1000 years after Satan is bound for a literal 1000 years and then set loose for a time, but no one has ever answered this question. Why would God make us wait for another thousand years before ushering down the new Jerusalem. After Christ returns the door of salvation is closed forever.

The only place I can find that mentions 1000 years is in Rev 20. If you have other scriptures that mention 1000 years I would love you to share them with me as I'm always opened to learn new things.

You never asked me, lol.

Two reasons I can see. To have the harvest increased by a measure more because the fence sitters and young ones need to get their head on right and accept the Lord Jesus. And with all of us Christians living on earth at the same time, and are the glowing ones, ones who have been transformed like scripture says, a lot of them will wholheartedly accept the Lord then. One last chance, enduring mercy.

The other reason is to rebuild our own earth and to show us how it was supposed to be, that we can live in peace and love even on a world that has deception on it. And everything will be like it should have been if Adam & Eve didn't fall. We can do it but only with the Lord's help and Lordship. We would all die without the Lord, mankind is in the endgame of proving that once and for all.

I believe those are two valid reasons. Plus I'm prolly missing something else too, lol.

If Christ returned and gave unbelievers a second chance to repent, would you not think we would all live ungodly lives until He returns?

We do not enter the Millennial Kingdom here on earth in our natural bodies, but in new glorified bodies, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54.

Right! But there will also be non glorified humans living on earth through the Millenium also.

and we shall reign on the earth as we rule with Him over the nations

So there WILL be a Millenium. That is not symbolic.

We will reign (with Him), on earth. This earth. Over Nations (plural). In New Jerusalem it will be one Nation, under God alone.

Here is my full take on the timing of 1000 years as I believe it is not literal, but in God's timing.

Rev 20:7-10 Those that have rejected Christ that still remain on earth after the beast, false prophet and all the ruling leaders from every nation that followed after the beast are destroyed are those who are the numbering as the sand of the sea. These are the enemy of God that Satan uses to battle against the saints during the battle of Armageddon that are camped upon the breadth of the earth after Satan is released for a season, Psalms 2:7-10; 110; Ezekiel 36; 37; Rev 20:7-9. The saints are camped not only in Jerusalem the beloved city of God, but also throughout the breadth of the earth. It's only the 144,000 generational Jews that believe in Christ that have returned to Jerusalem. After the 1000 years are fulfilled Satan is set loosed for a season and goes out to deceive the nations as he gathers the enemies of Christ to battle against the saints as the numbering of unbelievers is like the sand of the sea. As the enemy surrounds the camp of the saints God sends fire down from heaven and destroys the enemy and Satan is cast into the lake of fire. Zechariah 14; Luke 21:20-22 and Rev 16:16 mentions the battle of Armageddon when Christ and His army of angels return as Christ plants His feet on the mount of Olives for the final battle as Gog and Magog found in Ezekiel Chapter 38 is the battle of Rev 20:7-9.

(IMO 1000 years is a figurative number, not a literal number. It is figurative like the numbering in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.)

John 5:28, 29; Rev 20:11-15, now comes the Great White throne judgment as the books are opened with one of them being the Lamb's book of life where all the saints of God have their names written as they have part of the first resurrection of eternal life on such the second death hath no power, Rev 20:6; 1 Corinthians 15:54-57. The other books are opened being the book of damnation where the enemies of God that were killed while trying to destroy the camp of the saints are now joined with those enemies of Christ that were also raised from their graves and are reserved, 2 Peter 2:9, as now since they were condemned and judged will be cast into the lake of fire. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. While the saints are with Jesus the earth will be renewed and the New Jerusalem is ushered down from heaven, Rev 21.

Matthew 24:22 these days are shortened for a time that only God holds back or extends to allow His purpose for the last one to repent and turn back to Him before Christ returns, Rev 19, as God alone knows their name. Only God can shorten days like He did with Hezekiah as He caused the sundial to go backwards ten degrees, Isaiah 38:8, which was possibly five hours and again in Joshua 10:12-14 God extended the daylight for Joshua to defeat the Amorites.

Christ returns on the last day at the seventh trumpet and on that day His Bride being the collective body of believers through faith in Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption will be caught up to Him. Both asleep in their grave and those who are alive at His coming will then be kept safe on that day while Christ fights the final battle casting the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire and slaying all those nations (people) who come out to fight against Him.
(John 5:25-30; 6:40; Ephesians 1:3-14;1 Corinthians 15:51-57; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Rev 19; Zechariah 14:1-6; Luke 21:20-22)

I agree with we do not enter the Millenium in our natural bodies. Let's take a look at the NLT version because it speaks very clearly.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died[f] so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died..../(NLT)

So if Jesus brings the Saints with Him, then the dead are already with Him. When Christ returns in the air and gives a shout, the dead (flesh bodies) will hear Him and we will all be reunited with our flesh body for the proceedings (which are, the Great white throne Judgement and the Bema seat Judgement.)

Can you see that?

There is a rapture. It does not happen at the same time as the 2nd coming does. It happens before. Please comment on 1 Thess. 4:14

God is not God of the dead. He is God of the Living. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. There is no more Abrahams bosom or soul sleep or whatever you call it. That was a temporary measure because Jesus had not came and paid the price yet. But once He did, He said...It is Finished.

So, He won when He resurected. We won the war boys, let's leave you locked up? No. The captives in Abrahams bosom were covered by the blood of Christ just like everyone else. Their flesh bodies are in the ground somewhere. Bones maybe, lol. But they are all with Christ! Absent from the body present with the Lord.

Did Jesus pay the price or not? Yes He did. So the final proceedings aren't over yet, that comes later on. But you still bail the kid out so he don't have to sit there! That's the Lord I know.

Abrahams Bosom is empty today.

Jesus woke them all up and they went to Jerusalem for a glass of wine. (Kidding about the wine, lol)

But, you have to read the rest

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

By reading these verses we see that Christ comes first, the dead are caught up with the living as all are then caught up together in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air.

God will bring us back here to earth with Him as He plants His feet on the Mt of Olives for the battle of Armageddon.

Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 19:11-21 Jesus descends down from heaven with His army of the host (angels) of heaven as while remaining in the air He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather His own to Him. I know I give a lot to take in most of the time, guess that's just the teacher in me that I always feel the need for full context.

Even though I love discussing these things with you, but I think we are getting way off topic as I wanted to discuss the rewards.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Five crowns: Life, Glory, Rejoicing, Righteousness, Incorruptible

Rev. 2:26--"He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron." Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Rev. 20:6 They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.

Its really nice to see these rewards as here and now and not in the future. We see that we are ruling and reigning now with him. This is not a future reward for those who happen to be living after Jesus' return (none of us) but something for today.

Well scripture says that the Lord rewards obedience, so that should not change, right? So we do get rewards here on earth and now, (assuming obedience!) and we will also in the Millenium and afterwards. That's just, who He is. He likes being nice and generous!

We can't see ourselves reigning with Him right now. And certainly not over nations. That happens during the 100 year millenium.

I see some of his children ruling and reigning right now. The Millennium is now.
