Rollo's end times "in crowd".

:biggrin :) ;)
Hey Classik,
That's a cute wink you've got there.
But how about bringing something to the dessert party instead?
I'll bring some Galliano. I have a feeling some here might like it.
A nice bottle of Banfi Brunello would do nicely too.
Got any ideas?

I Planted a green field already: the venue; and it has grown to maturity, save that jugadores have been displaced, the breadfruit still at the 18th - awaiting a kick. :D

I like people I don't understand.
So I think I LOVE you!

Are the jugadores human?
Do they sing?

And the breadfruit at the 18th?
Come on. Give us a clue.
If we're to help each other as the O.P. wishes,
then we should understand each other.

You may be too sophisticated for us!!

Yes, we're all family here.

You got it. Now, imagine that same attitude and response in personal retaliatory responses between individuals, or worse yet, military responses between nations.

Brilliant deduction. How far removed are we from Pavlov's dog? I'd say we eat from the same bowl.

Jason can interpret riddles. :D

You mean you need an interpreter?
So if I want to speak to you, I need Jason?
How can this possibly work out???

you're awaiting a kick.
My son in law does this often.
When a kick happens, I hear a loud yell.

Are you one of those??

I think Hitler was the seventh king.

"The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, 10and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. 11“The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction." (Revelation 17:9-11 NASB)

At the time of writing the seventh king of the eight had not come yet. Obviously, the seventh king noted is not the eighth king, which we call the end-times beast and anti-christ who opposes Christ at his return. So the seventh king is a king worth noting in prophetic history somewhere between the sixth king reigning at the time of John's writing and the beast of the end of time. Hitler's got my vote for being the king that "has not yet come (at time of writing); and when he comes, he must remain a little while".
A thought for you........

They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while (Revelation 17:10).

This passage, which is speaking of the line of rulers in Rome, tells us exactly how many rulers had already come, which one was currently in power, and that the next one would only last a short while. Take a look at how that perfectly fits with Nero and the Roman Empire of the first century. The rule of the first seven Roman Emperors are as follows:

  1. Julius Caesar (49-44 BC)
  2. Augustus (27 BC-AD 14)
  3. Tiberius (AD 14-37)
  4. Caligula (AD 37-41)
  5. Claudius (AD 41-54)
"Five have fallen..."

6. Nero (AD 54-68)
"One is..."

7. Galba (June AD 68-January AD 69, a six month ruler-ship)
"the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while."

Of the first seven kings of the Roman Empire, five had come (Julius Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Gaius, and Claudius), one was now in power (Nero), and one had not yet come (Galba), but would only remain a little time (six months). The vast majority throughout Church history have understood that the beast in Revelation 17 is a reference to Nero.
