She did a marvelous job with the landscaping and is to be commended!

Where I want to live has palm trees..........

th

th

that look like the Mediterranean sea . the palms on the left appear to be same type here and are good for medicine and food.

Actually.......... the 2 photos of from the Western coast of mainland Scotland, and not all that far from Kyle of Lochalsh...... on the below map, there's a road labeled "To Plochton" .......... Plochton is the location of the palm trees. It can be noted that the roadway in the lower left indicates "To Skye Bridge" ......... that's real close, and leads to the Isle of Skye. The bridge used to be a toll bridge, until the people on the island raised a large enough fit about the descrimination. I don't blame them at all .......... it was the equivalent of $3.00 US to cross one way.

do they still use that sea port an rail line with the north and south line? the oldest of the rail lines near me that was pulled up had a port to the indian river and took one from a steam ship to the cities of venus, Saturn, Uranus if I remember right. some of that old stuff is still there.

The ferry stopped for quite a few years, but I understand there's now one operating. The sea port is rarely used, basically some runs in the summer. Likewise, the rail. Or at least that's how it was the last time I was in that neighborhood.

The articles were interesting.......... I like how the line got the name "Celestial" because of the towns of Mars & Venus. Creative minds with all that!

The photo & accompanying explanation of the photo = excellent!

Jupiter inlet was at first called st.lucia after being name st. Augustine by ponce de leon. st lucie which was part of the Brevard and then my county split from is named after st.lucia. yup its getting stupid the local online paper is pointing at the state flag as being a rebel one. the Spaniards, rebels and Indians are indeed what made florida what is today. the good bad and ugly. the more I go back the clearly I see how it shaped what is today. I don't see racism in what im looking at because im just wanting to read up on it. its the past.

Exactly. Our communities, counties, states and countries are a composite of the present and the past. Some things have been good .......some things have been ugly. There's no getting around it. That's history.
