Route pics

Looks like the Kings Inn Motel is a bit out of business. Sad.
Both this and the one that looks a little like the Rhyburn court were before my county left St.lucie county . the inn probably closed in the 70's as all along these closed.I will do a thread on route 66,route 1 and motor lodges .

I would imagine the widening of the streets played a role in the demise of it.
 
It sits on the sand ridge and us1 nearby is a four lane and has plenty of space .us1 would have to be a 10 lane to come close

From the picture, it looked as though the sidewalk was rather close to the front of the building, with the street on the other side of the sidewalk.

That's the view of the ave it's on.ft pierce has avenues running east and west .my county has it correctly .
 
I would still recommend being careful in the area and not take chances.
I have driven Avenue d from drill to this intersection . there's a police station near this . I may photo this next week.I photo graphed an old driven in projecter booth from avenue d.parked and Walked into position . that is the west end at angle road

She was on the front page.Prior to change to a brewery ,there will be a tour .I hope take it.

That should be an excellent tour! Hope you can be a part of it .... and maybe take more pictures :wave2

I wonder if the brewery will offer tours once it's up & running?
