Or buy them hereWhat a place! I'd love to be able to look out my windows, or step on the balcony, and view palm trees!

I know that but I aslo mentioned that to you as figured it would be noticeable with the name of the owners. the are using the old ranch land to farm trees. its not far from me. I simply followed the road I use a lot under its old name(tripson trail) to that and I saw it on google earth. he is the son of Charles, brother of ralph (deceased) . both of them are the sons of waldo sexton. he mentions sexton groves.I could have palms inside my home......... but not outside. There are times during the winter when the temp will drop quite a few degrees below zero.

AirDancer . most of this is gone, save a few things. I have seen the twisted tree. I have also have that Madagascar palm or traveling palm. the sensitive plants are all over my county
that closed in 1976. be aware that I enter that place. so I can assure( I have posted pics) that there are no animals there. not much is left sadly. waldo in many of his pics always had that hat. I will if can venture near his restaurant post the pic of him. they use his icon. the jungles name sake is after McKee which I have heard nothing else about. my wife remembers the monkeys and that stuff. I never went there until 2008.It would be cool to have a traveling palm in the yard .... quite convenient when working outside in the heat!
Are all the monkeys gone?
(Thanks for sharing the link .... the other film shorts were cool as well!)
Disney killed it. but well a lot of the flaura and flauna lives. the problem is not that if it was left alone. that the plants would have died. surely not those palms are every where on sail. I hate those traveling palms. I get cut by them, especially when they want to reproduce. look for McKee jungle gardens. it also had a whale skeleton out front. it was also a camp ground. the 80 acres is now ten. vista royale and its golf course is the rest of what was McKee.It would have been nice if that Jungle park could have become a sanctuary for the diverse flora and fauna. *sigh*
they like to put them in front the metersOuch! Didn't know about the lethal nature of those traveling palms. Being cut by a palm tree does not incite an endearment for the tree.
they like to put them in front the meters
they never do that. I had one of those today. oh I have ways of fixing that problem. cutting and trimming. I have killed a few bogies that way.
Sorry, Jason, I read your post and couldn't help but laugh at the situation. It could be the viciousness wasn't deliberate. However, I could also see how some people would try to discourage meter readers from reading their meters by planting such trees.
