Poor little crab ... should have stayed by the waters.

Great shots of Jaci's Beach .... stunning!

Those condos have lovely landscaping .... sets the scene quite nicely for the residents!

mating seasons. remember the videos of cars driving and the roads are filled with red crabs crossing? that this the same crab. I have driven north from ft.pierce, near south beach and ran over those things. some lost tire pressure.some had acciddents.

You would think the crabs would have adapted to the changes in their environment and select a safer area to celebrate their mating season.

I would imagine the liability insurance was too costly to continue with the renting of water bikes.

But it does sound like that was a blast to do, ages ago.

tomorrow, Is going to be a tough one for pics. I will find something.

No worries if pictures are convenient tomorrow. No doubt about it, I'm definitely enjoying the pictures! But I fully understand that it isn't always convenient to take the pictures.

I can always look through all the wonderful photos you've already posted :wave2

The architecture of cathedrals & churches can be absolutely amazing. Like the photo you posted that showed the beams in your church. Stunning!

There was a monastic community in St Andrews in the 8th century. Due to pressure on Iona from the Vikings, the centre of the church in Scotland moved east, first to Dunkeld and then to Kilrimont (the Celtic name by which St Andrews was known in those days). A church, dedicated to St Rule was built there early in the 12th century. The original, tall (108 feet high) tower of that church still survives (and gives great views over the town). Legend has it that St Rule (or St Regulus) was the original guardian of the relics of St Andrew.

When I was at St Andrews, renovations were being made to this particular structure. The old staircase had been removed, with a temporary metal staircase in place. One could, however, climb all the way to the top, where one could see the landscape for miles around. The North Sea is just beyond the land at that point, and various large vessels were at sea that were fun to watch as they made their way to Edinburgh area.
