You should enter the competition. I have faith in your photos.

thanks. the tripod I asked to borrow will definitely due wonders for my plans. I took this from a farther distance and about where I did a panorama with big blue in it. as you can see how much light the alma lee loy bridge gives out. I will shoot the south view of the plant. this was taken with a zoom lense at max zoom of 300 and the speed of 3 seconds. I took out some light my eyes didn't see this way.

It comes across as rather too dark (outside of the lights) to see much of anything.

I do like the effects of the lights, tho .... quite cool :thumbsup

A shrub is what you would see.I was a half mile north east on veterans island. The stacks are pitch black.I had the shutter speed at 3 seconds.

The warning lights for aircrafts are always great in night photos .... almost like special effects!

Ah I was talking to an designer who is Italian and I knew the name of her shop, and home.she and talked about a few Italian revival homes and how she aged them.and in doing so I found an older standing garage.it's has a history ,I sensed it and I thought it had an Italian or spanish flair.it was Italian. I will take a photo of it and post

Those archways are common throughout the world. The story of arches goes into prehistory with some of the earliest city states, even though the squared entryways/doorways were easier to make.

yes, the irish have them but those in particular are in fact Moorish in influence who got that from the Byzantines and also the Romans were also using arches and the Greeks. I should have clarified.

this one per the owner is Italian in appearance and said and I remember when it was yellow, dark brown, that only needs the court yard with the fountain such as the brazillian court has. and plantings by the windows also I think in some other Spanish edifice here , this one predates the county and its building permit is on record in st.lucie county. the awnings here is a give away . one of two or more that were like this. only this remains.

The archway designs pre-date even the Byzantines.

Can you imagine using chisels and hammers to carve the stones into the curves that would fit together? Talk about skill!

of course. the Hebrews had them and I think also the Chaldeans and Egypt, Greeks and Macadonia. Persia for sure.

I came into work today and asked my boss if he was going to considolate the route,as he did with the waterford lakes route and others.he said no as the next year's schedule has been made.I said assuming the electric isn't sold.he said have you heard? No,I haven't more but I did hear the same story so and so said but from a way higher source.likely the city manager and council knows it's dead, imho.my boss mentioned that ft.pierce was one and said if Vero was to sell ft.pierce being the head of nerc, the agency that inspects st.lucie or two I gather will have eat half a million more to fund it.ft.pierce dosent have a tax base to handle a sale of their utilities. Nor is the public aware of the problem of municipal bonds ,the ouc, fmpa own st.lucie one and two .as each city sells it's grid to fpl the others woukd own more of st.lucie one and two. The risks of paying for repairs is a concern.covb owing a mere 1.5 percent had to fork over money to fpl to fix,and upgrade.
