Scarifies

When Jesus was arrested and put to death, was the intention of the Jews /Romans to put him to death as a scarifies or as criminal?

If the Jews intention as a scarifies, then why they didn't do as God command and scarifies him in the Temple?
If the Romans intention to scarifies him to their god, then their scarifies not accepted to the God of Israel!

just wondering!!

It was the Jewish Sanhedrin that wanted Him dead. The main charge was blasphemy because they understood that Jesus claimed to be the Son of God but the real motivation was envy. See Matthew, chapter 26. The Romans carried out the task at the urging of the Jews. In Luke, chapter 23, it is recorded that Pilate and Herod found no fault in Him and in fact Pilate wanted to release Jesus.

As a criminal. I've heard the Romans wrote what the crime was and put it over the head of the crucified man. In our Lords' case,

THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Lk.23:38

They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. Psa.109:3

>>>Thank you both for your respond.
Some said, he was killed because he was (the king of the Jews) which was a crime.
Some will say, because of (Envy).
So, it doesn't matter who killed him.
My question: If he was killed for (crime) he committed, or they thought he committed then:
Neither the Jews nor the Romas have any intention of offered him as a scarifies To God.
We agree this practice (crucifixions) done on daily bases.
How Jesus became a scarifies to God, and not just (criminal) like anyone crucified and killed?

How Jesus became a scarifies to God, and not just (criminal) like anyone crucified and killed?
Jesus loved sinners who mistreated him, so that they might see the Love of God.
That's sacrifice. He walked that way daily during his ministry, This pleased our Father,
Only the ungodly saw him as a lawbreaker. This displeased our Father.

Jesus was the fulfilment of the prophetic Passover lamb.
He offered Himself for our sins.

>>>Thank you.
But where is God command anywhere for him to forgive sins, an innocent man must be put to death for the sin of criminal?
(Ezek. 18:20 -Deut. 24:16-Roman 2:6)
You don't think these verses which God spoke contradict the idea of someone must die for your sin?

>>> Agree, Jesus was sent by God to please Him.
But keep in mind Jesus did and accomplished that way ahead before he was arrested and put to death. (John 17:4)

Do you see a difference between "Must die for your sins" and "Will die for your sins" ?
The love of God transcends legal requirements.

Jesus brought glory to His Father with every thing He did.
It is written..."Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." (John 12:27-32)
Jesus did His Father's will, and not His own.
He is our example, now !

Yes. Jesus was grwatly sinned against, yet was still willing to forgive those who repent,

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: Isa.1:18

>>>Again, Did God ever demand, command or ask for the death of his son or any man to die so He will forgive our sins? (Verses please)

Yes.
Matt 26:42..."He (Jesus), went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done."
Matt 26:39 and 42 say the same thing.

>>>Again, please listen carefully: Did God, or the prophets or Jesus' command, ask, demand, order or mention once: His son, his daughter, another god or any man must die or will die by hanging on tree or crucified on cross to forgive our sins?
God command 613 commandments including of all kinds to do and not to do, is there any of these commandment God ask of any man blood?
Jesus' command 1050 commandments for Christians to fellow, is there any one of these commandments to please God a man must or will die and with his blood we all be forgiving?
(Sorry about my grammar)

Read my post again.
I just quoted the scriptures where Jesus wanted out of the suffering and death, but submitted Himself to God's will over His own.
It was God's will.
Jesus is the fulfilment of presage's sacrificial, or Passover Lamb.
He fulfilled what had been prophetically commanded in Egypt.

>>> Are you sure 'Passover lamb' was to atone the Jews from their sins?
If yes, would you please show me.

2Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

It was God's plan from the beginning to send His Son Christ Jesus to be the final blood sacrifice in order to make atonement for the sins of mankind through God's mercy and grace, John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:8, that we can repent of our sins as God forgives us and the blood of Christ washes away our sin as we are made righteous by the righteousness of God. Jesus now sits at the right hand of God being our mediator and intercessor on our behalf before the Father. 1Peter 1:13-25.

The main theme in the Bible is Jesus from the very beginning starting with Adam and Eve who disobeyed God's command to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil but they chose to disobey God as we see the promise of a Savior who would crush the serpents head or in other words destroy Satan's power, Genesis Chapter 3.

I hope this answers your question.

The lamb was the presage of the Christ.
I may have over-stepped when I said Passover lamb, but lambs were used to atone for sins in other places.
Like Leviticus 5:6..."And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin."
John the Baptist said..."The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)

>>>If a Lamb, chicken, dove or money it was used only for certain sins called (unintentional sins), as penalty.
No sin offering to sins committed knowingly.
Like Leviticus 5:6..."And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock

>>>Female?
, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin."
>>>Priest must make the offering, not the Roman.
Please scroll down to verse 7 and see, Lamb was NOT the only animal to be used as offering.
John the Baptist said..."The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)
>>>Couple verses down John claimed, he knows him not.

>>>If Jesus was sent to fix what Adam did, don't you think he will mention Adam name once?
as we see the promise of a Savior who would crush the serpents head or in other words destroy Satan's power, Genesis Chapter 3.
>>> Jesus taught us, Satan will never work against himself and destroy his kingdom.
Why then Satan helped Judas to make the decision and betray Jesus? (John 13:27)
I hope this answers your question.

>>>Not exactly, but thanks for your answer.
I am aware of the majority of Christian been told Jesus must die to replace the animal sacrifices, but this not true. God never command or ask for human blood, but the opposite He condemn such practice.
Q: can God condemn a practice and allowed it at the same time?
Can you trust a doctor who tells you to quit smoking and he have a cigarette in his mouth?
Animal sacrifices were only and only for small sins committed unknowingly as penalty..
