:D Twisting the scriptures will not get you what you wish for.
Nor will accusing me of twisting the scriptures...
I have quoted the ONLY parts of the Jehovah's Witnesses Bible that mentions ArchAngels in its entirety. I made no changes to it, so kindly retract your accusation.
An arch Angel is still an Angel.
They have a lot of simalarities, but they are not the same. If you wish to use that arguement, then you would have to accept this statement as it uses the same reasoning... A dolphin is a fish...
That verse you twisted says: And with the voice of
The Arch Angel Michael, not that Jesus was the Angel.
Madam, do not use your version of the Bible to try to prove what a different version says. That is a dishonest tactic.
If you wish to comment about what the Jehovah's Witnesses Bible states, then use that Bible for your references.
An Arch Angel is an Angel pure and simple, and I don't write my own bible, yet the JW's do.
As has every sect of Christianity in existence at this moment.
If you are smart, where did the name Jehovah come from?
You don't know what the JW's are about,so tell me where the name
Jehovah came from.
It is the English translation of the written form of the phonetic representation of the letters used in the Talmud to denote the Judiac God.
The bible says you'll know them by their fruit, and the bible warns against false religion.
Yes, it does... It's a shame that there are no Christian sects that follow the EXACT teachings of Jesus.
Doesn't that make them all false?
Of course, you can argue that there is some allowance for leeway on this, but that then means that you have to allow all the other sects to be Christian, including the Jehovah's Witnesses...
My sister debates with me regularly about her religion,
Considering just how little you listen to what people say on here, I'm not filled with confidence at this point...
so you are wrong to say I am lying,
I did not say that you were lying, as you truely believe you are telling the truth. That isn't stopping you from making erroneous statements. (even when you have been shown that they are in error. What would you say to a student that did that?)
and especially when anyone
can find out about their beliefs just by looking it up,
Then look up the information...
or by just talking to someone who is in their group.
You have the talking part perfected... All you need to do now is work on the listening part.
That appears to be where you have a problem.
