Let's post some testimonies here. Any type testimonies, divine help from the Lord whether by His Spirit, Angels, visitations, whatever happened. let's hear it! I love testimonies! I'll start off with a testimony of an Angelic visitation which happened to me. I didn't realize that he was an Angel at first, but there's no other answer to explain what happened, he had to be an Angel...
I am self employed and business was slow. Real slow. I was behind in my rent two months (2000 total). I also had a shut of notice for 300 for my utilities. I thought to have a garage sale and help raise money that way. So I did. I set up in the garage so I could keep it ongoing and open or close the garage sale with the click of a switch. It was a slow garage sale day and getting later in the evening. Then my landlord drives in and gives me eviction papers. Sorry Ed, I like you but I need the money, my hand is forced. Great.
So he left and I sat down on the couch in the garage and went into prayer for help. I finished praying and it was pretty much dusk so I closed it up and went back into the house. I barely got sat down in my house when my phone rang. Hi, I seen your ad for garage sale on CL and want to come see what you have, but I always work until later, so is it ok if I come by after work to have a look see? I thought sure, why not. All I'd have to do is to open the garage door. So a little over an hour later he comes over. Good looking and well groomed man in a nice pickup truck, very well spoken. I open the garage door and he comes in and looks at me and asks, how much do you need? (What?) What's he mean by that? I largely ignored his question because of the nature of the question. He's a garage saler. I started giving him a rundown of items I had for sale, that I thought he may be interested in as a man, and he interrupts me to ask "how much do you need?"
(What?!) Then he says, how much for everything on that table over there? (I had two 4x8 tables filled with household brick a brack from a 26 yr marriage). So I go into salesman mode and start discussing items on the table, picking things up and talking about them, handing them to him so he can check them out. It was weird, he didn't seem interested in them. He would be polite and take the item, hardly glance at it, set it down and ask me again, how much do you need? How much for everything on the table? How about $1900?
I couldn't understand what was going on. this guy was not acting like your average garage saler and hardly had any interest in the actual items. In my pause of trying to get a handle on the interaction, he said, Well how about $2400? (What?!) Garage salers try to talk you down, not up. I thought he was joking about the 2400, so before he has a chance to deliver the punch line, I said ok fine. I waited for the punch line and he pulls out a wad of 100 dollar bills and starts counting them out, 24 of them. I didn't know what was going on but I knew I made a sale. I asked if he wanted help boxing it all up and loading it onto his truck. he said sure. he just paid for all the stuff on the table (too much in fact) and as we're boxing it up, he starts setting stuff back on the table and says, I wont need that, you can keep that, and so forth. He set a lot of stuff back down. Doing mental calculations, I realized that he was (at least) paying me full price for the items he was taking and perhaps more. But I was going with the flow. Full original price for used items with years of service on them already, but I needed the money and he was agreeable so we loaded it up. he shook my hand and drove off. I wandered back into the house in a daze, reacting to what had just happened.
This guy was not some idiot with more money than brains. he was very well spoken and intelligent and it showed. Nor was he someone who buys/sells for a living. i know this because he left a lot of stuff behind that he could have taken. So what's the deal? Who was this guy? ...and then it hit me. He had to be a ministering Angel, come to help. It's the only answer that would explain how he talked to me.
So within two hours of praying for help, I had all of my back rent and utility money...and an extra 100 for groceries. Praise the Lord!! Wow.
Is that cool or what?!!!
