God's requirement for Sabbath rest is satisfied when we place our faith in Christ. He is the commanded Sabbath Rest for mankind. In Christ we find rest from the futile work of self-righteousness, and rest from the taskmaster of sin (illustrated and alluded to two chapters later in Isaiah 58).
And since that requirement is forever and fully satisfied in Christ the shadow can be laid aside. It is no longer needed to do what faith in Christ now does. It has not been abolished in Christ. It is perfectly fulfilled and satisfied in Christ. That being true, let no one judge you in regard to how, or even if, you keep a literal Mosaic Sabbath.
All I can do is affirm what both farouk and George Muller have said.
This is exactly what I believe, too.
Every day in Christ is a Sabbath day, resting in Him.
As far as church goes, we are instructed not to neglect the assembly, fellowshipping with others to the glory of God.

That is interesting, even for the livestock needing a rest? ;)

God's requirement for Sabbath rest is satisfied when we place our faith in Christ. He is the commanded Sabbath Rest for mankind to which the 7th day observe pointed. In Christ we find rest from the futile, never-ending work of self-righteousness, and rest from the taskmaster of sin (illustrated and alluded to two chapters later in Isaiah 58).
When we believe, we enter into God's commanded rest and find relief from the burden and taskmaster of sin. Those who don't enter into and observe Christ, the commanded Sabbath, will be put to death, just as the law requires. Those who believe escape that decree of death, that just decree having been nailed to the cross with Christ who took that penalty in our place.
Since the requirement for Sabbath rest is forever and fully satisfied in Christ the shadow can be laid aside. It is no longer needed to do what faith in Christ now does. Sabbath rest has not been abolished in Christ. It is perfectly fulfilled and satisfied in Christ. Matthew 5:48[13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
[14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Yes we are glad that Jesus brought to fulfillment the Old Covenant and brought us into a new a better one.
Heb 8:6 ¶ But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. {covenant: or, testament}
Heb 9:23 ¶ It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Not sure of the point, but it is very interesting to see that this very word that represents the "sabbath" is translated as "rest"
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 ¶ Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart
One might also understand that this rest comes through faith in His Word?
But he does change how he does things:God has said that He never changes! Mal. 3:6

And in regard to the covenant of the literal 7th day observance, it never changed a single soul. Never could.
