imo....Searching for the ark of the covenant is a slap in the face of Christ.
I saw a "picture" of a temple. But not Davids Tabernacle.
I had asked jason for his thoughts on Davids tabernacle. Been in many studies on the temples and their layout etc.
Davids tabernacle I am not speaking of a temple. Davids tabernacle was what we would call a tent.
If I recall....
The Tabernacle became stationary at Shiloh. Actually, the "tent" was replaced by a mini-temple in Shiloh.
David wanted to move the Arc to Jerusalem. The reason the two fellows who died when they touched the Arc when it started to slip was because they were not Levites. According to Law, only Levites could tend to the duties of the Arc without dying. And moving the Arc from Shiloh to Jersualem was a Levitical duty.
Your comment about rebuilding the David Tabernacle / whatever, prompted all this.Stove, Way back before you were born hehe i thought i remembered from Sunday School class that two guys died when they touched the Ark.... Some one here challenged that thought and when i reread it seems only one died .... So help me out here was it one or two?
The Scriptures tell us "He will rebuild the tabernacle of David"..... what i find is the tabernacle of David was a very simple. I am thinking more like what we would call an awning... the Holy of Holies was there the separation between God and His people was gone.... At the Cross the Vail separating the presence of God from the people was 'rent' the presence of God was once again in the midst of His people....

When I share all this human body symbolism I think it exists. Now just because it exists, I do not think it is necessary for everyone. However, Romans 1:19-20 does say that any man can understand the things of God from creation. I could go wild with thoughts of every body part, but I am going to try and go slow with all this. My carnal mind could go wild with thoughts.I believe the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David has started. I believe it is the presence of God in the midst of His people.
that was a prophesy concerning the messiah and it is finished.I believe the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David has started. I believe it is the presence of God in the midst of His people.
We are His body?
