What is the BOOK OF LIFE?

-Exod. 32:33:
"And the LORD said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book."

If one dies without forgiveness of their sins their name vanishes out of the record Book of Life.
The Bible teaches there are three different kinds of death: 1) dead in trespasses and sins- we are spiritually dead and severed from a relationship of the true God while we are living because of our sinful condition.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses." (Col 2:13-14;Eph.2:1) 1 Tim 5:7 "But she who lives in pleasure is dead while she lives." (speaking of being separated from God).
2) physical death.
3) the 2nd death.

The second death is the final consequence of refusing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rev.20:12-15: "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their WORKS.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Ps. 9:5: “You have rebuked the nations, you have destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.”

Those who believe in the SON of God and live a holy life have their name written in His Book of Life (the Lamb's book) and it is retained there.

Those who reject the SON of God or who backslide, never have their name written in His book. Their name is removed from the Book of Life, of which everyone’s name is written down that ever lived. They are like unbelievers. And they will be judged with unbelievers. They need to repent and live a holy life, otherwise they will perish.

Is your name registered in heaven in the Lamb's (Jesus') Book of Life? There is only one way for this to occur.
-You must believe in the Son of God and recognize Christ's sacrifice for you, admit you have sinned and need His forgiveness.
-Ask the SON of God to cleanse you from your sins in repentance and ABANDON your sins.
-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3
The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3

Anyone who is truly saved, will remain so. The reason for this is that there is nothing we can do to earn salvation. Jesus paid the price and made it possible for us humans to be saved, but we first must have our eyes opened by the Holy Spirit to show we are degenerate sinners and need to repent and accept salvation. Since we did not earn it, but it is a gift, we cannot lose it.

No.

No, this is a misconception and a heresy of the last days what you say: Jesus gave us a clear list of those who do not inherit the Kingdom of God (among them drunkards/smokers/ drug addicts, liars, adultarers, idolworshipers, killers etc):
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus warns in Revelation 2, 3 how He is going to judge Christians:
He that overcomes, *he* shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, and will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

[12/31/2019, 22:33] .: The book of life is a book in heaven which has only the names of the spiritually alive (or righteous) in it (Psa. 69:28; Phil. 4:3).
[12/31/2019, 22:33] .: ☝🏻
[12/31/2019, 22:33] .: The final overcomers will never have their names blotted from it, but such will happen to others who don't endure!

What about those that don't repent, and continue to commit sin ?
Do they fall into the "never saved" category ?

The Bible says: there is a point of no return to them:

20I f indeed they have escaped the corruption of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, only to be entangled and overcome by it again, their final condition is worse than it was at first. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousnessthan to have known it and then to turn away from the holycommandment passed on to them.22Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”…

As you can see here they were washed... they escaped corruption of the world but they returned to their sins. By sins they are crashed...they suffered the shipwreck of their faith. They failed to land safely in the Kingdom of God. Call them as you want but God calls them "washed pigs and dogs"

The Son of God says:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

Do you know that smokers do not inherit the Kingdom of God?
Drunkards too.
Drug addicts too.
Thieves and liars.
Christians are holy! If you did not live a holy life, you were not a christian or a holy man of God! IF YOU are not LIVING HOLY now, then YOU are not a Christian now, though you may have been one in the past. There are NO Christian liars, NO Christian drunks, NO Christian adulterers, NO Christian thieves, no Christian pedos. (1 Cor. 6:9-11; Eph. 5:5-7; Rev. 21:8).
Chrisrians are holy! Repent, abandon your sins and lovers and join the Army of the holy God's sons!

The statement “faith without works is dead” means that true faith in Christ always produces good works fot the glory of God and for the sake of people. In James 2:26 we read, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

Who will be saved?
Warn The Wicked and Righteous

The Bible gave warnings to benefit the recipients, but also to protect the ones who delivered them from harmful spiritual consequences that would result from not declaring the warnings faithfully. This was evident in the warnings from Ezekiel about blood guilt. Both the evil and the righteous received those warnings.

Warn The Wicked Man:
The warning to the wicked man:
When I say to a wicked man, “You will surely die,” and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. (Ezekiel 3)

The passage demonstrates that a wicked man's future depends on his free will. He is not fated to behave in a certain manner. He can choose to turn away from his sins or persist in them. Likewise, the servant of God (the prophet Ezekiel) has the option to warn him or not. Warning a wicked man who loves his sins could have grave consequences, but failing to do so would make Ezekiel responsible for the wicked man's blood before God. Many would concur with that, but the next two verses are distorted or ignored by false teachers, because they were addressed to the righteous and they contradict their doctrine.

Warn A Righteous Man:
Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself.

A righteous man is a person who is not doing evil, but if he does turn to evil, he will die spiritually. This proves a saved person can backslide, which is sometimes implied as an impossibility by the grace changers in some of their sermons. Many false teachers have both taught that way. Moreover, the death caused by turning to sin has to be spiritual death and not physical death because King David is an example of a righteous man who turned to evil, but didn’t die physically!

The warning from the prophet Ezekiel to a righteous man could stop that righteous man from falling away from God. This shows how crucial such warnings are. Sin remains a problem, even after being "born again". Also, like with the wicked, the one who gives the warning would avoid the righteous man's blood, even if he ignores the warning and does turn to evil.

NOTE:
The false doctrine of "eternal security" cannot give such a warning of spiritual death for the righteous because they mistakenly believe that is not possible. These verses are very clear and also prove, along with many others, that Calvinism is seriously erroneous. The only thing they can do is distort the definition of death to try to preserve their demonic teaching.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED: Turning to sin will bring the righteous (the Christian) to his spiritual death, according to New Testament grace! (Rom. 8:13; Gal. 5:19-21; 6:8,9; James 1:14-16; 5:19,20; etc.). Also, Paul believed he could be held accountable for the blood of others and warned them (Acts 20:26,27), just like we read in Ezekiel 3:18-21!

Therefore, those same realities and truths must be relevant for us now if we are followers of Christ. Are you alerting the evil? Are you warning the wicked? Are you warning the righteous in a way that the eternal security supporters cannot, that is, that they can still end up in hell? You should begin alerting for their benefit and yours!

ONLY those who die as overcomers (pure in heart) will see the Father - not the majority (the lost souls):
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Those who go to the lake of fire will never see the Father. Jesus will be their judge; he will also be the judge of the righteous (2 Tim. 4:1).

Can a smoker get to Heaven? No, nor can all who intoxicate their bodies by drugs and drinking. Do you warn smokers that they will not inherit the Kingdom of God if they do not abandon this sin of intoxication? Do you warn porn watchers and those who masturbate that they do not inherit the Kingdom of God because they commit adultery in their hearts and mind during masturbation? Do you warn the divorced who remarried that they do not inherit the Kingdom of God because the New Marriage Law of the New Testament lasts until death?

Repent! Abandon your sins! Believe in the Son of God and have not a dead faith, but bring good fruits of righteousness in your life before the Judgement Throne of Christ.
Amen.

How long have you been a non-sinner ?

Welcome to the site !

What about those that don't repent, and continue to commit sin ?
Do they fall into the "never saved" category ?
Yes. Simply put those who have had their sin exposed to them by the Holy Spirit are then effectually called to repent and accept salvation. This is the process, there is no other. Salvation is a gift of God that was paid for by Jesus Christ. There is no other path to it, period. To suggest that someone could lose their salvation is to suggest the God is no omnipotent.

Dont you know that Christians are the small remnant of the holy people or saints who were forgiven of all sins to live a holy life? We pray daily and if we commit sins not leading to death we ask for forgiveness and stop committing them. Do you know what are these sins not leading to death and which sins lead to death?

"IF" we commit sins ?
How can holy saints commit sin ?
Sin makes men unholy, and far from saintly.
How can those who have crucified the "flesh", with the affections and lusts, (Gal 5:24), still cater to dead "flesh" affections and lusts?
How can those reborn of God's seed bring forth the devil's fruit ? (1 John 3:9-10)

Frankly speaking, as salvation won't be guaranteed until one hears their name is in the book of life, losing something we don't even have yet is a superfluous idea.

[10/16, 23:30] .: Brothers and sisters, let's continue our consideration of the Holy Scripture.
[10/16, 23:30] .: The Sin Unto Death. What is it?
[10/16, 23:32] .: It is when God decides to kill a christian because of his sins.
[10/16, 23:32] .: 👣⚰️
[10/16, 23:33] .: Why does our loving and merciful God kill christians? Let's consider that today.
[10/16, 23:36] .: The true Christian is clearly called by the term saint 😇, which means holy one😇. Since sin can make a holy 😇person unholy 👹again (1 Tim. 5:22; Rev. 3:4; etc.), and therefore unfit for entrance into the Kingdom of God (Mt. 5:8; Heb. 12:14; Rom. 6:22; etc.),
[10/16, 23:38] .: christians and the false teachers🐺 are dangerously downplaying the effects of sin in the life of a Christian. Souls are at risk ☝️👣because of their fables, including the sin unto death myth.
[10/16, 23:38] .: So what is the Sin unto Death?
[10/16, 23:39] .: The real truth is a true Christian can sin in such a way as to bring him back into spiritual death👣 and endanger him to the Lake of Fire 🔥❤‍🔥again (James 1:14-16; 5:19,20; Luke 15:24,32; Gal. 5:19-21; 6:8,9; Rom. 6:16; 8:13; Rev. 2:10,11; etc.).
[10/16, 23:39] .: Let's read the Scripture:
[10/16, 23:41] .: First John 5:16
“If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.”
[10/16, 23:41] .: he should pray
[10/16, 23:41] .: ☝️
[10/16, 23:41] .: And God will give him life!!!
[10/16, 23:43] .: Lets read what happened to Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1–10 (see also 1 Corinthians 11:30). The “sin unto death” is willful, continuous, unrepentant sin.
[10/16, 23:44] .: Ananias and Sapphira

5 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.

3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”
[10/16, 23:44] .: 💰🪙
[10/16, 23:45] .: 5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died👣. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. 6 Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him⚰️.
[10/16, 23:46] .: 7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”

“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”

9 Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door🦶🦶, and they will carry you out also👣.”
[10/16, 23:48] .: 10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died👣. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead👣, carried her out and buried ⚰️⚰️her beside her husband. 11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.
[10/16, 23:51] .: 27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 30 That is why many among you are weak 😨😱and sick🥶😪😷🤧🤒🤕🤢, and a number of you have fallen asleep👣👣👣👣.
[10/16, 23:53] .: It is undeniable truth that God gets so angry😡 over sin that he kills people👣⚰️ because of it.
[10/16, 23:54] .: A holy😇 person once saved dies physically, he goes to heaven.

[10/16, 23:55] .: Will a person who died in an adultary go to heaven?
[10/16, 23:55] .: NO!!!
[10/16, 23:57] .: For Paul, to live was Christ and die was gain and better by far (Phil. 1:21-23), but these "blind guides" want us to think we can live for self, sin and the devil and die in those sins and still go to heaven. Hence, death isn't really a punishment at all, but a blessing and gain for their hatred of God and wickedness.

To look at this in another way, one can therefore backslide into heinous sin and wickedness, absolutely refuse to repent even though disciplined and get blessed by the thrice holy God for his unyielding stubborn rebellion when God strikes him dead in his holy wrath and anger AND TAKES HIM TO HEAVEN! Dear reader, that is nonsense! If you ponder the horrible conclusion produced by the eternal security teachers, you will have to agree that their version of the sin unto death is nothing more than a deadly, religious myth yielding an opportunity to live in wild rebellion to God - a license for immorality.
[10/16, 23:57] .: ☝️
[10/16, 23:58] .: The Bible speaks of only one type of adulterer and he is always shown as one who will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9,10), but instead will be thrown into the lake of fire❤‍🔥🔥 (Rev. 21:8), unless he repents!
[10/16, 23:59] .: But the eternal security teachers don't think this person has to repent for salvation. He will still get to heaven and escape hell in his unrepentant adultery or heinous sins, because he was once saved! How God must hate this deadly lie which has multitudes deceived!
[10/17, 00:02] .: However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love💛 him" (1 Cor 2:9).

Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love🧡 him? (James 2:5)
[10/17, 00:06] .: In other words, those who actually enter God's kingdom love🧡God. (This is the real issue, not if God loves❤️ them.) To love God we must obey☝️☝️☝️☝️ him (John 14:15,21,23,24; 1 John 5:3). Moreover, not to love Jesus is to be unsave
[10/17, 00:06] .: If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha. (1 Cor 16:22
[10/17, 00:08] .: He who does not love me will not obey my teaching .... (John 14:24)

Furthermore, Hebrews 10 say:

If we deliberately ☝️☝️☝️keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left☝️, but only a fearful expectation of judgment🔥 and of raging fire❤‍🔥 that will consume🔥❤‍🔥 the ENEMIES OF GOD😡👹👺. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy 👣👣👣on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished 👣who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood🩸 of the covenant that sanctified😇 him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? (Heb 10:26-29)
[10/17, 00:09] .: Did you notice that one becomes (spiritually dead 👣and) an enemy of God by turning to that type of willful sin (unforgivable sin)!?
[10/17, 00:12] .: How much more clear can it get? The ones killed by God because of their deliberate sinning go to the fires ❤‍🔥🔥of Hell, NOT HEAVEN!!!
[10/17, 00:12] .: ☝️
[10/17, 00:13] .: The real truth is a true Christian can sin in such a way as to bring him back into spiritual death and endanger him to the lake of fire again (James 1:14-16; 5:19,20; Luke 15:24,32; Gal. 5:19-21; 6:8,9; Rom. 6:16; 8:13; Rev. 2:10,11; etc.). This is the real sin unto death, as mentioned by the Apostle John.
[10/17, 00:14] .: Moreover, if God in his holy wrath strikes someone dead because of his unrepentant adultery he will go to hell, not heaven, with other God haters as already shown in Hebrews.
[10/17, 00:14] .: 👣🔥
[10/17, 00:14] .: Adulterers do not inherit God's kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9,10).
[10/17, 00:14] .: ☝️☝️☝️
[10/17, 00:15] .: The prodigal became "dead👣" and lost (Lk. 15:24) as a backslider in his sins. He too exemplifies the real meaning of the sin unto death.
[10/17, 00:16] .: Furthermore, because the prodigal got forgiven upon repentance, his example answers the sin unto death vs. the unpardonable sin question!
[10/17, 00:20] .: Dear reader, if you think you can live in heinous sin, and still be on the road to heaven, you have been dangerously deceived. You must repent (turn from sin-stop it) or you will find yourself being thrown into the lake of fire 🔥❤‍🔥in the end. You are not just jeopardizing your physical life, rewards👑, etc. as they say, but it is your very SOUL that is endangered. Don't be deceived about the sin unto death or anything else they say which allows for wickedness and salvation at the same time.
[10/17, 00:21] .: Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right 😇is righteous😇, just as he (God) is righteous😇. He who does what is sinful 💳👙🍾💰is of the devil .... (1 John 3:7,8)
[10/17, 00:22] .: Sins that cause the sin unto death (or spiritual death) are the ones listed in 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Eph. 5:5-7; Rev. 21:8 and other listings which exclude one from inheriting the Kingdom of God:
[10/17, 00:25] .: Or do you not know that wrongdoers 👹😡 will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral 👙nor idolaters✝️ nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 🫂10 nor thieves💳 nor the greedy💰 nor drunkards🍷 nor slanderers🗣️ nor swindlers💳🪙 will inherit the kingdom of God
[10/17, 00:27] .: 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral👙, impure 👙or greedy💰 person—such a person is an idolater✝️—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners☝️ with them.
[10/17, 00:29] .: But the cowardly😡, the unbelieving😡, the vile😡, the murderers🔪🗡️, the sexually immoral👙, those who practice magic arts🔮📿🧿, the idolaters✝️ and all liars🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️—they will be consigned to the fiery lake🔥 of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
[10/17, 00:30] .: Sins that cause the sin unto death (or spiritual death👣) are the ones listed in 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Eph. 5:5-7; Rev. 21:8 and other listings ☝️, which exclude one from inheriting the Kingdom of God!!
[10/17, 00:33] .: So, ponder. Never lie to Christians to avoid death like Ananias and Sapphira had because such a lie is even against God. And repent and stop sins unto death in your life! Because if God will kill you, you will not have time to repent.
[10/17, 00:33] .: ☝️
[10/17, 00:36] .: These sins (the sins unto death) are deadly👣👣 already...they already now lead you to hell and the Lake of Fire! CAN YOU STILL SURVIVE? YES. But when you will die, it will be late...⚰️
[10/17, 00:38] .: Lord Jesus, please forgive me of these deadly sins. I repent. Give me life instead of death. Save me from death where these sins lead me. Amen.

[10/17, 13:07] .: What is " Sin unto Death"?
[10/17, 13:08] .: Lets make a Summary of what we have studied:
[10/17, 13:10] .: The Sin unto Death is a sin when one becomes (spiritually dead 👣and) an enemy of God by turning to that type of willful sin (unforgivable sin)!?
[10/17, 13:11] .: The “sin unto death” is willful, continuous, unrepentant sin.
[10/17, 13:12] .: A true Christian can sin in such a way as to bring him back into spiritual death👣 and endanger him to the Lake of Fire 🔥❤‍🔥again (James 1:14-16; 5:19,20; Luke 15:24,32; Gal. 5:19-21; 6:8,9; Rom. 6:16; 8:13; Rev. 2:10,11; etc.).
[10/17, 13:14] .: The Sin unto Death is when God decides to kill a christian because of his sins.
👣⚰️
Why does our loving and merciful God kill christians? Let's consider that today.
[10/17, 13:14] .: Just imagine:
[10/17, 13:15] .: A pefophil was raping boys in his school and he came to a church. He tried to repent.
[10/17, 13:16] .: He studied theology and became a church leader/priest in a Church.
[10/17, 13:17] .: Being a priest he started harassing nuns in this Church..and talked to African women to harass them and again he started raping boys.
[10/17, 13:18] .: If he will try to repent, will God accepts him back?
[10/17, 13:18] .: Will God grant him forgiveness if before and after his conversion he is still a pedophil?
[10/17, 13:19] .: if he is a pedophil it means he is NOT a christian! But why?
[10/17, 13:20] .: The true Christian is clearly called by the term saint 😇, which means holy one😇. Since sin can make a holy 😇person unholy 👹again (1 Tim. 5:22; Rev. 3:4; etc.), and therefore unfit for entrance into the Kingdom of God (Mt. 5:8; Heb. 12:14; Rom. 6:22; etc.),
[10/17, 13:20] .: So he is not a saint anymore. His spiritual status is a pedophil.
[10/17, 13:21] .: The same way, God needs a proper repentance to forgive a sinner.
[10/17, 13:21] .: But some sinners cannot get such a repentance!
[10/17, 13:21] .: Why?
[10/17, 13:22] .: They cannot stop sinning!
[10/17, 13:27] .: Genesis 25:
[10/17, 13:27] .: 25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.

28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.

32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
[10/17, 13:28] .: Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
[10/17, 13:28] .: ☝️
[10/17, 13:31] .: 4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. 7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

[10/17, 13:32] .: In Hebrews 6:4–8, we observed that it is possible to be in the Church and receive many of God’s blessings without having true faith.
[10/17, 13:32] .: But these christians just fall away!
[10/17, 13:34] .: They do not produce fruits of the Spirit in their life but they produce only thorns and thistles, they are worthless, and in danger of being cursed...their end will be in the Lake of Fire and Hell being burned.
[10/17, 13:35] .: Esau is an example of one who was a member of the church visible but not the church invisible. He was blessed to be a part of the covenant because he was a descendant of Abraham. But his covenant membership was no guarantee that he would find salvation. Esau’s sin in selling his birthright (Gen. 25:29–34) and his marriage into pagan peoples (36:2) evidenced an ungodly heart (Heb. 12:16) that in reality was far from God.
[10/17, 13:39] .: 14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone 😇and to be holy😇; without holiness😇 no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one falls short ☝️☝️☝️of the grace of God☝️☝️☝️ and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral👙, or is godless👺 like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected☝️. Even though he sought the blessing with tears😭, he could not change what he had done
[10/17, 13:41] .: The birthright (bekorah) has to do with both position and inheritance. By birthright, the firstborn son inherited the leadership of the family and the judicial authority of his father. Deuteronomy 21:17 states that he was also entitled to a double portion of the paternal inheritance.
[10/17, 13:42] .: Esau demonstrates that he does not deserve to be the one who continues Abraham's responsibilities and rewards under God's covenant, since he does not have the steady, thoughtful qualities which are required... Jacob shows his willingness as well as his greater intelligence and forethought... What he does is not quite honorable, though not illegal. The title that he gains is at least partially valid, although he is insecure enough about it to conspire later with his mother to deceive his father so as to gain the blessing for the first-born as well."
[10/17, 13:43] .: Later, Esau marries two wives, both Hittite women, that is, locals, in violation of Abraham's (and God's) injunction not to take wives from among the Canaanite population.
[10/17, 13:43] .: His marriage is described as a vexation to both Rebekah and Isaac. Even his father, who has strong affection for him, is hurt by his act.
[10/17, 13:44] .: This action alone forever rules out Esau as the bearer of patriarchal continuity.
[10/17, 13:45] .: Esau could have overcome the sale of his birthright; Isaac was still prepared to give him the blessing due the firstborn. But acquiring foreign wives meant the detachment of his children from the Abrahamic line.
[10/17, 13:46] .: Esau is furious and vows to kill 🔪Jacob as soon as their father has died. Rebekah intervenes to save her younger son Jacob from being murdered by her elder son, Esau.
[10/17, 13:48] .: Genesis 32-33 tells of Jacob and Esau's eventual meeting according to God's commandment in Genesis 31:3 and 32:10 after Jacob had spent more than 20 years staying with Laban in Padan-Aram. The two men prepare for their meeting like warriors about to enter into battle. Jacob divides his family into two camps such that if one is taken the other might escape. Jacob sends messengers to Esau, as well as gifts meant to appease him.💎💎
[10/17, 13:52] .: Jacob gets the name Israel after he wrestles with the Messenger of God as he is traveling to Esau. His hip is knocked out of joint but he keeps on wrestling and gains the name Israel "who fights and wins with God".

After the encounter with the Messenger, Jacob crosses over the ford Jabbok and encounters Esau who seems initially pleased to see him,😉 which attitude of favour Jacob fosters by means of his gift💎. Esau refuses the gift at first but Jacob humbles himself before his brother and presses him to take it, which he finally does. However, Jacob evidently does not trust his brother's favour to continue for long, so he makes excuses to avoid traveling to Mount Seir in Esau's company, and he further evades Esau's attempt to put his own men among Jacob's bands and finally completes the deception of his brother yet again by going to Succoth and then to Shalem, a city of Shechem, instead of following Esau at a distance to Seir. The next time Jacob and Esau meet is at the burial of their father, Isaac, in Hebron. The so-called reconciliation is thus only superficial and temporary.
[10/17, 14:08] .: So as we see Esau was an evil man! He refused to be a leader in his family and a bearer/heir of patriarchal continuity and moreover he violated the laws of God and married wives from the Canaan/gentiles.
[10/17, 14:09] .: Even when he wanted to get back to be reconciled with God, he could not do it because of his evil life ..he was unable even to get reconciled with Israel!
[10/17, 14:11] .: Esau is an example of one who was a member of the church visible but not the church invisible. He was blessed to be a part of the covenant because he was a descendant of Abraham. But his covenant membership was no guarantee that he would find salvation. Esau’s sin in selling his birthright (Gen. 25:29–34) and his marriage into pagan peoples (36:2) evidenced ungodly life style/ ungodly- unholy life☝️👣 (Heb. 12:16) and in reality his heart 🖤was far from God because of his sinfull life☝️.
[10/17, 14:15] .: We must never think that we can ignore this warning given to the Church! God warns us that evil christians in sins will lose their inheritance like Esau! They will be cast into the Lake of Fire!
